I would argue not really. I'm a very robotic/emotionally dead person irl. That said, friendship is a need of familair social reaction due to human beings being social creatures. Friends are in a biological way a familiar source of social activities to who we engage to in order to relieve our need of expressing ourselves without facing the possibility of engaging an unknown entity who may or may not want to interact.

Also friendship dosen't conquer all.

Yet you feel jealousy and greed like anyone else? If you get feelings from Shakespeare and can manage to get through Yugioh you are probably not as emotionally lacking as you want me to believe  .

Friendship, family connections, and other "Social contract" type stuff bring people together. One person is weak, a community is strong, and nations are stronger still. If humans didn't have these emotions, we would be solo hunter gathers. Friendship (and the like) created civilizations, who managed to conquer everything from farming to splitting the atom. Therefore, Friendship conquers all!

To be fair, that was more Sanure's fault for the premise being a shocking swerve from what was expected. We even discussed it over Steam and he stated that had he had more time, he would've figured out a different way that would've pissed less people off.

Also, Homura's less 'wanting out' and more 'she wants proof you aren't bullshitting her about her powers'.

Antiheroes are still on the side of the good guys. Just.....not so heroic. And I doubt, unless Scap's prepared for it, you're allowed to play villains.

If she wants proof, she could just stay and let her try to awaken them. From what I gather, absolutely nothing happens if they're normal, no skin off her back. If she is magic, then that's proof because she just got powers.

So why do you think Homura hasn't left yet? It's not like I had her literally just storm out and flip Mrs. Mouse off, denouncing magical girls and declaring war on them to join some sort of anti-magical girl terrorist group or something.

Anyone would be skeptical in that kind of situation, and considering Homura isn't exactly the heroic type unless pushed, she wants proof before jumping in and going 'HENSHIN' or something like that.
