Stability Issues

Not sure where to post this, but anyone noticing a lot of crashing with this version?  It's the worst it's been in quite some time.

No, they went to Hel, where they lead a bleak existence in cold and darkness. Valhalla is reserved for valiant warriors.

I'm getting none at all. Playing stably at varying framerates on large worlds with up to 150 dwarves or so.
Occasionally I cause a deliberate crash by testing the clashing of buildings with trees and branches. That's a known crash cause since the end of the last set of releases. Hopefully addressed by the time of the new release.

Are you running mods, dfhack, odd starter pack settings or anything?

Running Lazy Newb Pack, most recent version.
using Dwarf Hack.  Nothing funny in the settings.
Not involved in trees/construction yet.

Getting a non-responding crash.  I've created a new world, no problems thusfar but hate to lose a fortress when I'm not the one that screwed up...lol.

I had some worldgen crashes which Large Address Aware seemed to solve. Although that may be coincidence as Toady says he's fixed at least two worldgen crashes recently.
Doubt it's could be a crash cause, but what tileset do you use?

I think it's something in the LNP. I've had quite a few crashes when I've used it - close to none when I played without it.

I understand that it is disappointing when a dwarf makes a spiked loincloth instead of an axe.

I do have several crashes.
Mostly has do to with things i Build near trees.
Then some rare things happens in caves and so on , hard to pinpoint every single crash , but more usual than before indeed.
