[Beirus]

Beirus raises his right hand up, watching the shadow to see if it really does mirror his movements. It hasn't attacked them yet, and he wasn't sure if his sword would have much of an effect on the monster.

[flabort]

Flabort realizes something. "I should have asked Rigel if it was safe to go by air with the wagon attached," he tells Moe. Moe whimpers in response.

Flabort instead brings the wagon to a stop, or at least he tries to by tugging the reigns back and down and whispering to Rice. "Gently... gently... there, good Rice... gently..."

Once the wagon comes to a stop, he instructs Moe to circle around the mystery monster and get close... and readies himself to call Moe to him once the monster reacted, to force the monster towards himself whether it followed Moe or ran from him.

Felicia goes off to accomplish this task.

Goblin Hunting

Felix sneaks up towards the guard. Oliver opens his mouth wide. The goblin's head disappears inside the slime and terrifying muffled gurgling noises can be heard coming out of Oliver. (2) Damage. An arrow flies uncomfortably close to Felix and Oliver, barely even grazing the goblin for (1) damage. The struggling goblin flails, but doesn't succeed in escaping the slimy mouth.

Dinner Hunting
Roxanne lifts the dear, and slowly carries it back the direction you came. It seems like Roxanne can carry it with some difficulty.

Zomara looses a bolt at the boar monster and it strikes it in the side for (2) damage. The boar turns towards Zomara. Its eyes have turned red and it is clearly enraged. It charges you, but Mel jumps in front of it in an attempt to protect you, taking (7) damage.

Water Hunting
It does mirror your movements. It does so in the same way that a mime would do so. It is now three dimensional and appears to be made out of semi-solid shadow. Flare growls at the strange creature.

Town Hunting
You bring the wagon to a halt a good distance from the beast. It seems occupied with the other wagon and hasn't noticed you or Moe yet. Moe circles around him and is now about 20 feet beyond the monster on the side opposite of you.

Chore hunting
 Taking a few pieces of chopped wood into the main hall is an easy task. You approach the circle in the center of the room and look down. For the first time, you realize the size of the fire slime. It is normally slouched down in its bed of embers or in its adjoined room, but now it comes out to greet you. It is about ten feet tall and just as wide. The typical fire slime red coloration is dotted by several darker patches which look to be the result of aging. Normally small flames dance off his exterior, but it seems he is actively decreasing his temperature at the moment.I see someone has finally brought me a snack. Thank you young master. If you could place it by my home, I'll get it later. For now I am going to go out and have a bit of a walk through the woods.

Exactly! Two mana batteries have been placed in the wilderness outside of the hall. It is your job to find and retrieve them. I won't tell you anything about them, not what they look like or where they could be. If you can find them that means the device indisputably works! One last thing, some monsters really enjoy mana batteries. Be very cautious of strange creatures being attracted to them.

Felix swings his mace at the Goblin's midsection while Oliver continues engulfing! Felix thinks Trent is better chilling for now.

Callista starts sneaking forward, closer to Felix and Oliver. She does not fire: Don't want to risk hitting Oliver.

"Mel!"
Zomara quickly locks in another bolt and fires at the beast, rushing to Mels side. He pulled out another bolt, but, instead of notching it on the crossbow, he holds it in his hands, waiting to be charged. Waiting to Pierce the danmed thing in its bloody eyes.

Flabort approaches the monster with his sword drawn, signalling Moe to approach as well and Rice to follow, trying to keep it from escaping. He keeps an eye out for why the monster would have knocked over the other wagon. If it tries to escape, he either has Moe get in it's way or gets into it's way himself.

Move toward Zomara.

[Beirus]

"Strange. But you aren't hostile. You want to come with us, for a bit at least?" Beirus asks the creature, placing a hand on Flare's head to try and calm him down a bit.

Goblin Hunting
The gobling flails wildly doing 2 damage to Oliver, but still is unable to escape. Felix hits it for (4) damage and Callista moves forwards. So far it seems you have gone undetected.

Dinner Hunting
Scrapheap moves up to the fight after Zomara dashed ahead. Zomara wildly shoots a bolt  and it strays, just barely hitting the boar for (1) damage. Mel is stunned and the boar stops on him for (2) damage.

To Town
You close in on the impressive reptilian crocoman. Its impending height and lean muscles are enough to make you at least slightly nervous. This is definitely stronger than the wolves you fought before you think to yourself. You see it lift up the wagon to retrieve something from underneath, but doesn't seem to be able to find what its looking for. At first you think its the corpse of the driver, but you don't see any blood, so he must of escaped. The beast finds what it's looking for. It seems to be some sort of relic or amulet. You can't really tell because as you try to get a better look at it, you realize its staring right at you. It does not look happy to see you there with your sword drawn. In fact it looks quite angry.

Water
The shadow reaches out towards you as if its going to shake your hand. This is more than Flare can handle apparently because he shoots out fire at the shadow. In the flash of light some of its shadow flesh is stripped away and you can see a grinning skull and bones underneath! (It takes 2 damage from the fire).

Felix just resorts to plan C. Plan C is more mace.

"Oye! Pig! Get off my friend!"
Zomara charges the beast, trying to push it off of Mel, and hoping the wolf would attack back.

[Twinwolf]

"I need to buy a knife or something when we get back." Callista says, stabbing the Goblin with an arrow.

[Beirus]

"Fucking undead. Nice work, Flare. Now then, we can do this one of two ways. The easy way, where you just stay back and don't fight, and I'll bring you back with us if you're good and behave. Or the fun way, where I hack you to pieces and crush your skull. Your choice." Beirus states as he draws his sword and takes a few steps back from the Shade thing.
