I am happy for your garage
Mine was turned into a room. Loadsa years ago, can't remember how many, some burglars ran around smashing all the locks to all the garages hoping at least one would give away. They succeeded in smashing our garage lock since ours was the oldest and opened up the garage door - only to be met with a brick wall

Surely at that point in your life you just give up

My mom and brother have been due to visit any minute now for like half an hour and I've spent it all running around fussing over things.  Now I think I'm - hold that thought

Okay *now* I think I'm out of things to fuss over and hopefully they just get here soon!

I just need to pass off the remaining mess as being too casual to clean, and for gaia's sake not mention how it looked before, or by ANY MEANS let them enter that one room.
Oh wow just saw something else, ffs

Edit: almost an hour later they called to say they were delayed
I noticed actually
It's going to be such a relief when they actually get here that I'm practically not anxious anymore

Well. Yesterday/last night was kind of awesome. Even with how jetlagged I was. ^-^
Feels weird to be back home, but it's also kinda cool. I could put more words here but I can't think of any good ones that fit.
Oh well. I had fun.

Double-posting because heck yeah I got my payment reinstated!  :D
And now to celebrate I'm listening to Electric Wizard whilst cooking some spicy instant noodles. I should have been listening to these guys last night, not Bongripper... as great as Bongripper are, they're a bit. I don't know. Too intense, maybe? Next time, next time I will do better.

Do you dislike the other Happy thread?

Yeah, he's a banned spammer. Normally we'd delete this thread too, but people were having too much fun with it by the time we got here.

I do prefer this one. Less anime in the OP and thread titles, for one thing.
The old one used to have the monopoly on Happy Threads, but now that the number of choices has doubled I've moved my Happies over here. :P

I tentatively support this. It's always good to have options, and I'm kinda sad to see Yoink having to make double posts.

Today was (and still is!) a lovely day.
Right from the start the weather was lovely, especially after all this awful Winter cold we've been having, and then psychedelic substances only made things better. And then everyone hung out in the backyard drinking (just iced coffee in my case), which is actually really good as backyards go. And then I started playing the soundtracks of favourite videogames on Spotify, and that was good.

Everything seems good today. Looking at my life objectively it's not great, but today I have friends and I am happy. ^-^
You should all come hang out at my place during the Summer, it's really nice.

I have coffee! And toothpaste! And my headache seems to be easing off!

Now, time to play Spelunky until I lose consciousness.

Tonight I'll go to the local cinema with a couple folks I haven't seen much lately. And there'll be food :3

That moment when you look at the event you're going to on the weekend and it's so good you get chills from the excitement.
Oh man. This weekend is going to be ace.

It was a Sneak Preview, and we ended up not going and playing Therapy instead. It was great fun, but it turned out that they showed the new Johnny Depp movie - which is pretty awesome as far as I can tell. I'll have to go see it in the next couple weeks, I guess.

Black Mass? I've been interested in watching it.

We probably could do a Bay12 hangout style thing, if someone got a streaming version.
