Could make a thread for it.

I kinda don't feel like it - I have no idea how to set up a stream in the first place. I'd appreciate a link to the thread though ;)

Hmm... I'm pretty sure I've heard of it, but I can't remember anything about it.
Still, I don't think I've watched a Johnny Depp film I didn't like. I'm sure there are some Johnny Depp films I wouldn't enjoy, but I haven't seen 'em. :P He's one of my favourite actors.

Watching a stream of it with Bay12 people sounds like fun. Haven't done that in ages.

DDR dance pad arrived in the mail few days ago.  Finally set it up yesterday, was worried it'd be all slippy and I'd suck at it now.

Well of course I *am* pretty bad at it now, but not as bad as I thought, and more importantly it's a lot better than my old pads were!  Has this kinda grippy lower surface instead of being just plastic.  Aaand I kept doing one more song, until I eventually stopped because it was getting late and I didn't want to annoy sideneighbors with footstompings.

Clearly the solution is to keep playing until I'm lithe and nonstompy again!  Seriously, that actually kinda worked for me in college.
Of course I'm no longer a pisco-vegetarian with a worrying lack of appetite...  But exercise is more important than diet!

Heck, I even made fish gumbo for dinner and brunch.  Unconscious nostalgia maybe.  Was incredibly filling, too.

Sounds fun. The couple of times I've watched people actually play DDR it's quite mind-boggling.
I can see how it would work as exercise!

Anyway, the internet here went down last night and when the provider was called they told us they wouldn't be able to fix it 'til Friday (tomorrow). Everyone in this house is a nerd and uses a lot of internet. It would have been a bloodbath.

Fortunately it's working this morning, and as far as I'm aware nobody died.
Also fortunate since I need to do stuff tomorrow and I... I have an unhealthy compulsion to double and triple-check the details of everything I do online before actually leaving to do it. Hmmmm.

Wait... that's kinda what I meant. Didn't realise how ambiguous that sentence was. :P
I check online before doing things offline... there we go, that's better.

There are few (if any) feelings in this world better than when someone laughs/groans/otherwise audibly reacts to a pun I've made. :))

Also, wow.
Not pictured: the umpteen previous attempts it took before the dog finally settled upon that method of stick-manoeuvring.

That or they watched a human or cat do it first.  Or have wolf-blood.

Had lots of friends come to my parents' house out in the country and have a bit of a party last night. Lots of pizza, some beer, an astonishing amount of talk about our pornography consumption habits... It was a good evening. And the other party in my current unhappy romance had the tact and common sense not to come, even though I invited her because we both sort of have to keep up the fiction that we're just going back to the friendship that was the status quo ante, making the whole event much less emotionally distressing for me.
