((sorry, hangover))

Eat the guy with the crossbow before he can shoot me, I guess...

more specifically, claw his shootin' arm to shreds. Then eat him.

((Ok, I'm fine with that. Crossbow only does 8(10 or 12, from up close) less damage than a normal slugger, (though 40(50 from up close) less than a heavy slugger), and still does a decent 20.))

Reload the crossbow and run backwards/to the side. Clearly, this crossbow has laser sights, and fires straight, like the one from Nuclear Throne, so use them and fire a crossbow projectile at the bear.
((sorry, hangover))no problem. I just want people to know i am not being inactive.

(5) Rilay manages to load and cock the crossbow, (1 v. 2[3]) but is unable to point and fire before Lazlo begins to tear at his arms (strength v resistance to cutting (3+2[1] v 6[2])Lazlo slashes Rilay pretty good, but Rilay manages to block some of it with the crossbow. And then the biting starts: (5[1] v (2[1]), and Rilay is down(6), though not before, in his attempt at defense, he manages to pull the trigger and fire a bolt into the bear (5) The bolt penetrates a short distance into lazlo's shoulder, glancing painfully off the bone. Rilay is dead. Lazlo now has two wounds: one to the right foreleg and one to the right shoulder.

(Mwahaha!  Fear the mighty death stare of Cuddles!)

Watch the man fighting the bear.  If a body part or organ lands near me, start gleefully nibbling on it.
The fight winds to it's end, and is as bloody as you would hope, but no organs come near you. You wanna go poke the bear now?

Examine the area around me, despite my bad vision.
You don't have bad vision, the area has an odd fog in it. but you look around anyway, noticing the shapes coalesce and fade away rather rapidly. You notice, after a short while, that the ones you focus on tend to approach and become more solid, and when you are distracted by another shape, that one will fade back into the mist.

Meanwhile, Rayburn watches the bear icon dominate, and the man icon fade into an atomized static before the bear bubble droops close to the other one, now containing only a person and a feline icon. The feline icon looks to be getting dangerously close to the bear icon, for some unfathomable reason.

Focus on one of the shapes.
Describe a shape you wish to focus on.

Go on auto-standby unless something happens.
What happens next kinda depends on what Megggas decides to do.

...

What? Don't look at me like that. It's IC. I can't help it.

Lick my wounds.
You do this, rather nonchalantly. Maybe a little angrily. The ball on top of your clown hat bobs into view occasionally. You haven't the sense of humor to appreciate it's comical appearance, though.

(Another person falls victim to the deadly gaze of Cuddles.)

Approach the bear.  Playfully whack him with my paw and then rush back to my sock.

Approach the bear lying on the ground.  Climb onto his head and take a nap.

Lower my head to rest on the ground and stare/glare at the kitten.

Focus on the catlike shape.
An object falls at your foot. It is a small feline figurine attached by some unseen mechanism to a collar of some soft, flexible material. A shadow coalesces into a form - it is you! But the form is lifting a replica of the figurine and placing the collar around it's arm. This scene ades out and returns, only instead of the arm, it places the collar around it's leg. the third time it places it around the shaft of the umbrella, then around the outside of the 'shield' part of the umbrella. The image repeats, changing the location it attaches the collar each time.  a second image appears, and this one raises it's hand to the figurine, collar wrapped around it's leg, and tugs sharply on the figurine. The figurine does not come loose. It then pulls gently, and the figurine slides away from the collar with ease. The image of yourself then throws the figurine, which transforms into a cat and dashes away. The image gives another soft tug on the collar. Momentarily, the cat strolls back to the image, leaps up, and reforms into the figurine, attached to the collar.

Go on auto-standby unless something happens.

Lower my head to rest on the ground and stare/glare at the kitten.

Approach the bear lying on the ground.  Climb onto his head and take a nap.
Cat approaches bear, bear doesn't resist. Cat climbs and bear allows it.

Battle over!
Suddenly, the lights in both the armory and the room that Kasai is in turn bright green. Kasai scoops up the figurine laying at his feet, and is hauled out by the same arms he was hauled in by. or maybe they are different arms, who knows? the rest of you are likewise ushered again into some kind of holding cell. Remarkably, the four of you left living are dumped again into a room together. this room is a little more complex than the one before: it is enclosed, with a darkened, bear sized enclave on one side, an umbrella stand or hat rack on another, and a sort of elevated ledge with a mat on it recessed into a wall. oh yeah, and there are walls. No more of this 'exposed to every passerby' business.

Lazlo And Kasai each get five points to spend on dice, and one point to spend on either adding a new skill, or raising a stat or resistance.

Make a new character sheet to come in at a later date.
Terror finds itself dropped down a dark and teriffyingly cold shaft, for what feels like forever, but is probably only a second or five. It quickly finds itself in a comfortably lighted room, before hitting hot liquid with a splash. The liquid is deep enough that Terror didn't hit the bottom, and it come to the surface with a cough. It starts pulling itself through the viscous liquid toward a nearby shore, and it feels something large push up against its misshapen legs from below. Gasping, Terror hauls itself onto the shore, a hard, crumbly black substance, and lay on its back. Shining objects move about on the ceiling far above, and in the dimmer reaches o the cavern, other things move about.

I intend to post the next round in about six hours (but don't hold me to that, I might post it tomorrow morning). If your points aren't spent by then, either add them before your next action or hold on to them until the end of the next battle.[/b]

Alright gang! Autopilot off! Things are happening!

Stand up. See if I can make out any of the nearby objects, and walk forwards.
Terror sees some small, skittering things nearby. They move quickly away from his approach, but he notes that there are a lot of them, and they don't move far from their starting point, which, on closer inspections, is a half eaten something. It looks like it had a hard carapace and lots of spikes. It's insides glow with radiation and are dripping onto the hard gravel below.

For the moment, more interested in the things his own size, Terror moves away. he spots a strange creature made apparently of slime, small, orangish triangular plates and fibers. it is wrapped around a stalagmite, and extends high above Terror's head, while it's tail end (or head? or appendage?) stretches across the floor and is wound around the base of another stalagmite. Up above, Terror hears a rustle.

The rest of you, after exploring your little enclave and discovering that, yes, you can sit on ledges and hang on hatracks and sleep in bear dens, are once more forcibly ejected from your quarters. This is accomplished by means o the walls simply tilting in while the floor disappears below your feet. You tumble downward and find yourselves sliding down a stone slope, much to steep to climb back up.

You end in a pile on the floor, and when you sort yourselves enough to see anything, you see that the slide is gone, replaced by the back wall of an alcove. the front of the alcove opens into a carpeted room, full of shelves, with tall, bright windows along both sides overlooking an idyllic landscape, in which large dinosaurs vomit acid onto tentacles, mobile thorn bushes which respond by both dissolving ,and by entangling the dinosaurs in their remaining limbs. In the distance, beautiful, glimmering swarms of tiny little fuzzballs with huge eyes devour everything organic in their paths, vomiting most of it undigested onto the ground in their wake.

Talk to it. Say hello.
hmmm. can you even speak? That wasn't made clear in your character description. I'll assume 'yes,' sunce you think you can, and I never made speech something you had to include as a skill.

"Hello." Terror says to the viscous slime and fiber being. It quivers a  little in a region of it's body that is fairly nearby, but you can't tell if that was a response, or just a natural part of it's body processes.

Examine the shelves for anything of interest.
you see a bunch of 'stuff.'

((I went with a mini update, since neither of these action was major, like stabbing someone, and both could happen before any other stuff happened, and it gives you guys a chance to act again when the other stuff happens. I'm not skipping anyone, just making sure the action flows.))

Search the room, then if I find no other exits, attempt to smash a window with a swipe of a paw.
