Greetings everyone! On 4chan's /tg/ board, we have a phenomenon called "Civ Games". These games are pretty simple. The players vote for a race and a location, and the "CM" (Civilization Master) writes up some fluff. Then the game officially starts, and it basically works like a suggestion game. Special events happen, technology gets invented, magic gets discovered and many interactions with other civs will take place.
Once the game has started, you will probably see something like this every post:
Civilians: X [Y/Z] (Wherein X is the number of civilians, Y is the number of turns your amount of civilians has not grown, and Z is the number of turns it takes for your civ to grow)
Food: X [Approx. Y more turns] (Wherein X is the amount of food you have, and Y how long you will last with this food. 1 civilian will consume 1 food every turn)
Military: (will show you your troups)
Relations: (will show your relations with other civs)
Technology: (will show you your discovered technologies)
Magic: (will show your discovered kinds of magic)
Special units: (will show you your special units)
Constructions: (will show you your buildings)
Other tabs, such as livestock or religion might appear, based on the things that happen.
Now, go ahead and choose one of the 45 races on the picture in the spoiler, and one of the 16 locations too! By tradition, the first race and the first location to gain three votes wins!
