@9

I pull a lever and the sudsy sound of bubbles surrounds my precious craft. "Surface!"
((Wait, what did you just do? Did you somehow create a bubble of air around your ship? Are you returning to the surface? This entire post is pretty darn vague..))

Dealal

badges-
?? reward for ??

- this universe consist of a verity of areas but the main places are the central city, it is in the center of whisper forest and is cut through by a river.

Central city- fairly generic slightly old style city, no sky skyscrapers but the buildings are still fairly large and made of stone.

Whisper forest- this forest is quite relaxing.

Other locations- ?

starting condition-players that start in this universe appear in central city, players begin with 10 cards of there choosing and/or design (with gm approval) one of witch must be unique.

players should disscus starting cards with the game master via pm

players should include there current cards in a spoiler in every post. along with there states.

style-this universe uses a mix of free play and encounter and discovery. Players can write up an "encounter" with inconsequential entities. But encounters that are more worthwhile (combat, item gaining) is handled By the gm.  (Players can write up there own encounters and pm them to the gm for approval however)

They can also go to certain pre-established places that will behave like discovery or labrininth.

connection condition- card rules must be respected, if the rules say they cant be x it does not matter how strong y is.

-notes-
-just because it does not say no exceptions does not guarantee there are exceptions to it
-I know there are spelling errors just try to deal with it please. I fixed what spellcheck noticed.
-I reserve the right to pull new mechanics out of hammer space at any time

(I activated a mechanism to make my sub light and go up really really fast!)

(probably filling up cavities with gases extracted from the water)

(I activated a mechanism to make my sub light and go up really really fast!)

(probably filling up cavities with gases extracted from the water)
As you travel farther and farther away from the depths of the ocean, you realize the fact that there are multiple islands of rock between you and the surface. Quickly scrambling to the driver's seat, you pull up and-

-just barely miss the entire front of your ship being smashed into pieces by a particularly sharp rock. That was a close one. The rest of your journey goes, well, not quite as close as the first time, but still, you can feel your heartbeat as you steer the submarine away from fish, sharks, and more islands.

Finally, after braving the depths of the Waterrealm, you emerge at the surface. Your ship is going to need repairs after this, and that high-speed surfacing used up the last of your power. However, you don't hear that stone-rubbing sound anymore, so that must mean whatever was causing the power failure must have been thrown off during the-

CRASH

-holy those are a lot of tentacles.

The gigantic anemone begins to rip out the entire top of two thirds of your submarine, revealing to you it's host in all of his magnificent, chitinous glory. Say hello to Astrapius, a thirty-five feet long utter monster of a boxer crab, with enough electricity in one sting to paralyze a man for life, even if his life wasn't drastically shortened by the giant crushing claws this guy has. No wonder you surfaced so slowly compared to before. Well, good luck.

Oh, don't look so in despair. At least you got a badge out of of this.

I quickly fire a hookshot at an island just like before, except this this I set the crank to pull the whole ship out of the water! I am not too concerned about getting shocked, as my garbs should protect me, however getting crushed is not a part of the plan. The solar energy recharging my ship enough to operate the crank, I focus on dodging crustation on the ever ascending laden platform.

Well... It depends. The Dreamscape's tech level is largely variable- you'll find everything, from crude clubs, to gizmos that seem almost magical. As a general rule of thumb, the more arcane the concept, the harder it is to find. You'll be finding plenty of strange and unique items, but none of them have been produced en-masse, simply because not everyone dreams of guns made for the sole purpose of turning walruses pink.

((speaking of I request a connection to the dreamscape. I would prefer trade be possible between us.))

((This sounds good, although we would need to discuss how much the our realities will bleed into each other. I don't want the card system to be a big thing in the dreamscape (it's what makes your reality unique, after all), and I imagine you would be hesitant about letting the dream physics or nonsensical items into Dealal.))

((Also, it's probably best to discuss connections in the Astronomicon, rather than of derailing this.))

((XXXXYYYY, just checking to make sure you saw my action.))
((Oops. I'll write up a turn in a moment.))
((ALRIGHT, TURN EDITED IN:))
The first priority, of course, is to get my shirt off and wipe whatever sedative remains away from my skin. If there's still time after that, use the shirt as a glove, in order to grab a leaf from that mind-burning plant I encountered before. Should the creature attempt to lick me again, block it with my shirt, pack or dagger.
Your first order of business is, of course, to get this sedative off your skin before you drop unconscious and get eaten by a glorified lump of flesh. This is done surprisingly quickly, and you manage to get it off and wipe up most of the glop before the creature manages to seal its wound and attack you again. You take the opportunity to grab a sprig of the bluish plant using your shirt, but the moment after you grab it the beast lashes out again. Instinctively, you bring your arm up to block it and its tongue slaps into your balled-up shirt and, shortly after, the plant's leaves.
The creature screams.
It falls, spasming on the ground, and you can feel a shadow of its pain secondhand as it wails mentally. Its mind, specialized in connecting to others, has come into contact with something designed by chance to protect itself by burning the minds of those it touches. This is a rather unfortunate occurrence for the beast, to say the least.
What do you do?

((Sorry for cutting this a bit short, gotta eat soon.))

Astrapius is currently on the part of your ship he didn't rip out. I do not imagine your hookshot would be able to pull that much weight, solar energy or not.
