((Yeah, I think he meant that he wanted to call the 4 instead of raising after he found out how that mechanic would work.  That's fine.  Ready for the next hand.))

I bet 9001, but then you said the max bet is 10, so I decided to call instead. Nither of us specifically bet 10.

((You just... fold?  Not even checking?  I, uh, guess that means I get a point since you had to ante?))

"What in the... okay, seriously?"

Null Nevermore, audience member, grabs a chunk of flesh from his "collection" and lobs it at the person who just said "I hate poker".

Well, you could play round a table instead, if you want things more personal and atmospheric. It would remove the whole "protection" idea, but I'm sure Janeway's never been too anxious about sudden and horrific death.

You cram the sliver of human meat into your mouth accidentally.

Bit rare.

((I actually prefer the current system, so I would vote to keep it.))
((Never mind, that's a good idea.  Remove all protections.  By the way, did I get any special attack cards from the last hand?))

((Great, if all protection is gone can I use them immediately?  Edit: in addition to whatever attack cards I gained from this hand.))

Null Nevermore spits the meat out.

"That... could use some cooking. Why... oh, RTD aura! It's been... centuries since I've been effected by one of those!"

Null Nevermore tries again. Because that is the best way to beat an RTD aura.

[5 - 10 insanity penalty = -5] You impale yourself on meat. You are still alive, and will be for about a month. You cannot move.

Erm, I can't really see any way out of this game, so do you think we could agree to just move on to the next one? Perhaps removing two layers of protection and letting Zack and Janeway use their cards?

Where would that leave us both in terms of protection?  How many layers would we both be left with, in that case?
