The credits roll on the simpering face of the host, who euphorically alternates
memoriams for Xan and Jan with witty tweets from the DMR social media feed, and the buzzing audience is shoved onto the turbulent, windy streets and sidewalks outside the arena, their bloodlust sated, wild gusts sending tickets, leaves and wrappers pirouetting round the crowd.
The contestants meanwhile are led through a dingy labyrinth of whitewashed, occassionally bloodstained corridors to a brightly lit and spacious dorm, with three beds evenly spaced along each wall, cameras covering every angle and space. At the far end of the dormitory stands a huge vending machine, a longand cramped list of numbers and items by the slot, while restrooms branch off by every cubicle. Various televisions and snack buffets occupy the remaining wall, other programmes and various garish brands hungrily breaking the sterile glares of the cameras, while the host leaves, spending a worryingly great deal of time locking the door behind him.
"Toodle-pip! Have a nice break, a few days off, contemplate your own mortality, perhaps! And don't stay up reading too long after lights out!" A few minutes later, the door is noisily unlocked, and Desmond is dragged in by an orderly, his teammates having neglected to carry him. Lawson C Jameson and Emilio Rodel also troop in, standing about near the door apprehensively as Desmond's teammate lay him out wordlessly on a bed.

Alright, contestants can play with the machines and do whatever, the audience have been chucked out, and can do random shit. Pretty much like the first DMR. Oh, and ten Deadman Dollars to anyone who can tell me how many DD Lawson and Emilio should have, other than their characters.
