Galaran Union Advance Turn.
Miscommunication was the idea of the day throughout the recent weeks as Arynn browsed through several stacks of reports and archived files, sending and resending important orders to her officers and administrators around the nation through any dependable means necessary--she was glad the printing press was recently invented, as well as the majority of her reports foretelling a "bloodless battle" as they "took over" certain areas of what was 'now recently' the trade nation of Belgia.
While she had diplomatic overview, she had no idea that there was a subtle oppressive economical tyranny in Belgia. Knowing that by the time she had received the oncoming reports from the militia lieutenants, it would've been too late to contact the trade nation leader--she had been ejected by the people in an extreme misunderstanding of neological intent, especially given the arrival of Galaran forces in the same week gave the impression of other means.
In a way, she was proud that she had authoritative control given the hierarchy of Belgia being somewhat aristocratic (which meant she could oversee population control and administer a more firm balance between social climes, economics, and public development), but she was also perturbed by the Merchant Guild operating within the now-recently-"annexed"-state; they seceded all control to the Galaran forces, canceled all treaties, burned technological research, and overturned the economy.
All because the Galaran flag flew high in each militia company movement.
Sighing that what was done, was done, she would move to communicate with the loyalist nationalistic factions in the coming days--glad that her country's culture prohibited hedonistic tendencies within the military structure, and emphasized an egalitarian doctrine in interacting with any other in battle or peace.
Reports were bloodless, due to mass miscommunication--now settled mutually, but too late to return to Belgian authority due to the recent move of capital in just a couple days notice. Arynn took this as a learning lesson--communicate with all administrative staff in all regions when moving the capital, else misunderstandings will happen if not at announced war.
While this took most of her attention from the past weeks, she sent official notice to the Disputian Republic about a peaceful takeover happening in the coming week, with three days notice of correspondence. She was proud for their first engineer brigade, proud that their captains were of high moral strength, and would give them the mission of moving into Disputian territory if they would receive...no word at all from them in the future time. Intelligence reported no significant happenings in the republic as of late, so it was strange that they were receiving next to nothing in response.
