Era of Diesel: Fantasia 1, IC Thread!
« on: September 04, 2015, 04:59:34 am »

Please keep all out-of-character discussion, critique, error-reporting and such to OOC Thread!

~~Pre-1900 (Turn 0)~~

With the coming of the end of the winter of the year 1899, many powers are preparing themselves to begin the race for dominance and power.

For example, diplomatic pacts and treaties should be reviewed and formed, not to mention that forces should be deployed in strategic positions just in case.

Quote from: Deployment availability (remember, 1 army stays in Capital
Bretain: 8+3 fleets, already deployed
Ahrman Dominion: 6+1 fleet
States of Drudenburg: 6+1 fleet
Buenderland: 4
Belgia: 1+1 fleet
Zosterian Domain: 3
Rakdar: 3
Marrowlend: 4+1 fleet
Provinces of Asxai: 3
Galaran Union: none

One Army to the Capital, One army to 32, Navy in 31.

We would like to offer trade treaties and alliances to Drudenbug (tntey), the Galaran Union (Tiruin), Rakdar (Taricus) and Marrowlend (Spiderking50).

Two armies to 46, one to 42

Rakdar diplomatically declines Belgia's trade treaty offer at this stage, accepting the alliance regardless.

Rakda then offers both trade and research treaties, along with an alliance, with the Galarian union (Tiruin) And offers trade treaties and alliances to Asxrai (Eritzap) and the Zosterian Domain (Powderminer)

We regret that Rakdar do no wish to enter in relations of trade. We are welcoming them as our allies nonetheless, and offer a trade treaty to Asxrai.

one army to 47, two to 68, one to 49.
Buenderland offers trade pacts, research treaties and non-agression pacts to Zosterian domain (Powder Miner), Marrowlend (Spiderking50), Ahrman dominion (Kashyyk) and Rakdar (Taricus)
EDIT-fixed error in army deployment.

In light of of reviewing it's potential industrial might, Rakdar formally offers to direct it's industrial power for other nations, for a price. At this stage, it offers the Ahrman Dominion it's services in return for Province #45 to be ceded to Rakdar.

"Excuse me? How do you define 'Evil'?"
Conquering of the helpless or the innocent, or deceiving one's allies, essentially.

The Union was united--albeit at the cost of a reformed military creed and code. The dawn of Galar would start with the roots of the past Emperor: an army of professional volunteers.

The Galaran Union issues one discreet query to all nations of Bretania:
"What do you stand for?"

The impact of such a statement, along with the many miniature fashions on the sides--people, ideas, symbols-- foretell that it is an important, albeit an open-to-philosophizing question.

Rakdar Accepts Buenderland's proposal of alliance, but must decline on the issues of the research and trade treaties.

In response to the Galaran union's question, Rakdar merely states that it's taking a pragmatic view of things, though not an expansionist one beyond the straits and mountains that ring the region where it has it's capital.

We are primarily a commercial faction. And war distract men from the pursuit of business, as such, we want peace across the continent.

Move 3 armies from 3 to 2
Move 2 armies from 3 to 29
Move navy to the western cold sea

Accept the Zosterian trade pact.

Buenderland formally proposes an alliance to Rakdar and a Trade Pact with the Bretain empire

To the Galaran Union: Buender stands first and foremost for Buenderland, its customs, development and people; and second to his loyal friends and allies, whose well-being shall be of the highest importance as long as they remain so. Yet what does the Union stand for, who would ask such a question?
