"Hello. Vault dwellers. I apologize if you're upset at the strange time of the meeting. I just wanted to let everybody know that all guns and drugs not given by a doctor are now considered contraband. Don't be surprised if you are searched. It will become routine. If you have either of these, please give them to a guard. If you're innocent, there's no reason to fear the development. Questions?"
Many Vault Dwellers seem confused at the sudden firearm prohibition. Press in the front the Atrium bombard you with questions, while other Vault Dwellers boo and hiss at the announcement. Wiley leaned back in his chair, beginning to relax, when the call came over the intercom. He sighed, before responding.
"Received, Alex. I'll send a riot team. Contain for now."
"Dispatch, this is Rayne. Roll Riot to the prison. Moeler needs help suppressing a riot in Cell Block 35. Contact him for more details."
Once he got off the phone with the dispatcher, Rayne pulled open the filing cabinet next to his desk, pulling out a file of open cases. He began to leaf through the file, looking at the big cases the department was working on.
((Just looking for a summary of what our current big cases are.))
After sorting important files over your desk, you begin reviewing some high level case.
[Investigation #12389]
Many of the slum parts of the Hotel towns are being run under control of mob enterprises. Genko and Jonestown to be run by the Viper Zapers, while Xaie is under control of the Black Seal. Intel reports that the Viper Zapers funnel drugs from the maintenance shafts, making the population high on a mixture of Mentats, Med-X, and Speed. They operate with an iron fist, killing Vault Dwellers who cause problems to their drug deals. Genko is the gangs capital hotel, while Jonestown is another part of terriotory.
The Black Seal is a cult dedicated to sacrificial cannibalism. Our intel is very limited on them, since they operate secretly within Xaie. Many of our spies have disappeared inside it and the it seem the local SEC office is with them.

Subject #2182 classified as "Origami Tech" was supposed be a super weapon. It was an all grey Android based off REDACTED to further supplement SEC. An Engineer has reported to have gone rogue by the Chief Engineer. Name:Origami Tech
Job:Maintenance Shaft Monster
Age:unknown
Gender:unknown
Skills:Traps, Melee Weapons, Survival, Sneak, Repair
Backstory:Origami was designed to be modular, to learn, and to self repair. Some unknown event caused the creature to be let loose in the Shafts. Perhaps a system failed - an accident which damaged part of the science lab, allowing several things out. Perhaps the Scientists believed Origammi to be a failed experiment. Perhaps security feared that it was a successful one. Or maybe Origami engineered it's own escape. Whatever the truth, origami lurks in The Shafts, feared by all who believe it exists.
I can PM more specific details, or just post them in the open. whichever.
Origami is currently deep inside the maintenance shafts. It is in an alcove, over seeing a small tribal settlement on the lower rusty metal ground. The Android has become widely known as the demon of the shafts, but many dismiss it as a fairy tale. On either side of it, two airlocks continue to different parts of the shaft. Looking down from the alcove walk way, you still see the tribal settlement.
The exact identity of the tribe is unknown, but they seem to cloth themselves in withered down vault 876 jumpsuits. The guards carry rusty makeshift spears, while regular peasants take stock of supplies in the tents. Children play and fool around.
