You could do that. Lying is allowed as long as you do not falsely reveal your character. On principle, it'll be easier to lie about your private card than your public one, but both can be done well if you have a clever mind. Does that answer your question?
I think so... So I can imply as heavily as I want that I am a peasant, as long as I don't literally say "I am a peasant" or could I do that, but couldn't say "I am a <peasant>"?
To make things simple, let's say that bolding the words "I am peasant" or anything that amounts to that (with any role, obviously) would mean you reveal. A false reveal would reveal you as you truly are and nullify any day power you might have had.

Oh! Another problem, what if your victory condition is "<church><cult>" But you are the only church member?
Than simply try to survive. It'll be hard enough...

So do we respond by pm or in the thread

Speaking of lowest intelligence, that reminds me of the fact that it's probably your first time in prison. Don't worry, I can give you some tips, having spent some time in a few myself. The best way to make friends here is to drop the soap during shower time. Try it, I'm sure you'll love making friends like that!

This is mafia, not a roleplaying game. You are not confined to staying "in character."

yawns

Good morning fellow parishioners!

tntet what in Tarantino were you doing last night while the rest of us were sleeping.
fillipk, what are you saying here? How do you know that he wasn't sleeping unless you yourself were not sleeping? Are you claiming that you are that one cultist who knows who the other cultists are? That's a very bold way to start the day. I applaud your audacity.

Doubly audacious as you also announced that tntet /is/ and that Moonlit /isn't/ a part of your cult.  But this may actually be a viable strategy...

Also:
Tarantino

Oh,  That is rather disapointing "In Tarantino" was much more amusing to me than tarnation... ah well...

Also it's the RVS (random voting stage).
Interesting fact about this statement, it tells us that you are church.  As such, I demand to know what your role is!

I'm the bishop but I'm not saying what my roles does, keeping it secret.

I'm a little hesitant to say this, as how it'll be interpreted, but I hate both of the roles I got. This random generator was not fun to me.
I hope you guys got fun roles, at least.

Not sure if this is how the game is supposed to be played, but:

"Reveal your allegiance... or we will kill you!"
you say you have 2 roles, so that means you are allied with the cult, so Unvote. Say stuff to separate it Moonlit shadow

Ooo! Let me guess! Uh... a bishop is an authority in the church, so you can let them use their action twice? Or perhaps it's information, and you know the other church members?

Seriously though... have you actually read the opening post and Tomasque's posts clarifying stuff?

I could have two church roles.
Nope, re-read the opening post, you only get one day role.
