Giving waitlisted people the ability to murder non-responsive players was a great idea. Need to do that more often.

 All-Seeing (Cult): Look at any two of the four roles not in the game.

 Peasant (Neutral): You do not have a day ability.
 Psychic (Cult): You know which other people - if any - are part of the cult at that time.

fillipk:
 Bishop (Church): If you reveal after the voting results have been posted, you can break a tie (if any exists) in anyone's favor.
 Innocent (Neutral): You have no night ability.

The Moonlit Shadow:

 Congratulations on successfully convincing a majority of the group that there was a Soulmancer in the game, and turning certain death into total victory.

 Kudos to you for attempting to save yourself in the end by making it seem that you were a church/cult role combo, and planning on using the drop in people voting against you as a springboard for your Bishop power to claim victory.


 Next game will probably begin on Monday. Are you all feeling up to another game? You all get first dibs for one of the 4 slots.

I don't feel like I convinced anyone, mostly just gave everyone enough wine for me to escape.

My heartiest congratulations to fillipk for playing a very logically sound game despite my best efforts to rattle him.  I seriously was not expecting you to switch your vote to tntey, despite it being the obvious thing to do in hindsight.

I'll think about it, it certainly was a lot more complex than I thought it would be when I signed up.  Should be more interesting now that people have a feel for the game, not sure how I'll avoid a policy lynch for being a liar and using cheap tactics this game though.

Speaking of lowest intelligence, that reminds me of the fact that it's probably your first time in prison. Don't worry, I can give you some tips, having spent some time in a few myself. The best way to make friends here is to drop the soap during shower time. Try it, I'm sure you'll love making friends like that!

Hmmm... let's put that to a vote. Who wants next game to be version 2.0? I already have all the roles for it in my notebook. Obviously, if we have new players, we'll have to use the same version as before.

Actually, I've decided to take a break from GMing. It takes up Lmost all the time I have after school each day, and sometimes (in the case of my other game) it takes many, grueling days to finish a single turn. It was fun while it lasted...

Hmm.. Would one of you (or anyone else reading this thread) like to keep running this game? It doesn't require any of the behind-the-scenes stuff that RTDs or FGs do, and all you need to do is give out roles and handle actions. I'd be happy to write up the rules for Cultists and Churchgoers 2.0 tomorrow if someone wants to continue the game, whether on this thread or another one. It's really up to you what you do with it.

Now that I think about it, it would be a lot easier for the both of us if you created a new thread. That way you wouldn't have to wait for me if you wanted to change something in the OP and it wouldn't confuse new players. Anyway, I'll write up the C&C 2.0 description in this thread after school (I only have time then), and you can just copy/paste into the OP of the new one.
