Hey guys. As the title says, I'm looking for a good monitor for light gaming and such. 1080p minimum, and I'd prefer it on the cheaper side. Thanks.

60Hz, whatever, and yes.

Ah, well for 144hz (because nobody seems to specially sell 120hz monitors), you're looking at a minimum of £200 (about 315 USD or 270 EUR). Refresh rates much above 60Hz aren't really associated with "light gaming", it's pretty enthusiast stuff at that point.
The cheapest one I could find that is all the things was this one, which is only just shy of £200. A nice monitor to be sure, but I wouldn't describe it as "for light gaming and such". Or "cheaper".

Well, I myself recently picked up this one as my first 1080p monitor, having been stuck with 900p previously. The short response times are really nice in my opinion.
It comes in at a bit under £90 (about 140 USD or 120 EUR).

Why not visit your local electronics store and look around? That way you can check them out in person and see if you like before you buy.

You don't even have to buy it there. If you can get a better deal on the same model, order it online.

Go to amazon... like wat. You're looking for a regular monitor that does 1080p. It's not hard to find. I'd guess £100 these days.
