They're incorporeal and invisible, how do you expect people to hunt them?

Their creator was the one saying that their traits were for defense.

They don't really need a way to defend themselves when people don't know they're there, and if they did, couldn't hurt them anyway.

Except in the case of finger guns. Then there are at least two fingers pointing back, and a maximum of two pointing at your quarry, unless you're weird and use more than two fingers for your finger gun.

Or double-pointing. Then there are six pointing back at you.

Or if you have more than 5 digits on the appendage on the end of your arm.

Morthan uses up to 5 F to release as many thannels and humans from quarantine as possible. He'll also specifically tell it was him who released them, and they should be grateful.

EDIT: Morthan creates 0.2E worth of Sage Skulls and spreads them over all worlds (KJP edition, 2.6/10000, ~769)
