Will the ocean planet have floating islands?
"WE CAN MAKE SOME IF YOU WANT"
"I LIKE THE IDEA OF FLOATING ISLANDS WITH GIANT WATERFALLS FALLING FROM THEM"

This raises the question of what is at the centre of the gas giant. A liquid core? A solid core? Just gas?
"A SMALLER GAS GIANT WITH A SMALLER GAS GIANT INSIDE OF THAT"
"ITS GAS GIANTS ALL THE WAY DOWN"

All in favor of three planets say aye!
"AYE"

"More space! More variety! More life! More specialties! Mer-species for the water world, earth-creatures for the land world, and sky-creatures for the gas giant! Something for everyone!"

"And I say AYE!"

"Like I said Jack, we ain't got a lack of space with one planet. I ain't one to fight made up problems. Not with my dough. You can put oceans n' earth creatures n' sky creatures in one world. For cheap, too."

Now that is an idea I can get behind.

((EDIT: Just noticed I messed up the quotes. That's what I get for posting at 3am.))

Look, we need to raise a psychopath who will murder God, we have no time to be spending on cooking.

"Whatever floats your boat, Jack Jens. Like I was a' sayin', space issues are a non-existent problem. One medium is plenty for all them things."

An until now sleeping god awakens suddenly:
FIIIIIIIIIRST!!!!!!

Wait, what are you things? Can't be gods since I was clearly here first.

Maybe I should make a place for you mortals to live? How about two or three planets orbiting a sun, with a miniature-sun belt far around?
That should be right, I think? You'll have plenty of room to brutally murder each other.

Now that I think of it, there should be an asteroid belt too, probably closer to the planets. You'll have plenty of rocks to throw at each other.

"I think I'm female... okay? But anyway, let's compromise! One rather large rocky-water planet with a gaseous moon!"

"Aye.  Oh, and the problems with the gaseous moon thing are PROBLEMS.    I suggest something more like Endor, because then that actually works.  Unless we start making up stuff.  Also, Mr. Totally-not-first, I'm tallying you as a support for the idea of three planets of varying types."
