Order the Lambdent to begin fortifying the immediate surroundings of the portal and to gather near it as soon as the battle will have calmed down enough to allow this to be performed safely.

Until then, they are to switch to a support role as soon as the upcoming surprise joins the battle, whenever it is practical to do so.
