Laser Weaponry : Designed, originally, for combat in space, the laser has the advantage of being minimally affected by gravity, acceleration and other such troubling things. On Earth, it has however shown a few flaws. The atmosphere tends to pollute the firing chamber, resulting in a coating of burnt material forming on the lens array, absorbing the laser and resulting in the overheating of the weapon. A second problem is more inherent in the weapon. In atmosphere, the beam has the tendency to heat up the air through which it fires, producing a decent amount of noise and a very noticeable beam of light between the weapon and it's target.

Warrior caste : Featuring redundant organs, heightened reactions, and dangerous natural weaponry as well as durable natural armor, these soldiers would be dangerous even if they were not equipped with advanced technology. Which, for the most part, they aren't. Batch size: 4

Dropship : A simple, Space to Surface dropship. It utilizes the mass of the Earth's atmosphere to slow itself down, then fires a simple chemical rocket for terminal descent. Inefficient, certainly, but it works even in the Earth's troublesome atmosphere. The volatile atmosphere does provide a very good source of propellant, allowing the ship to refuel and take off again on a suborbital trajectory, which is however high enough to allow recovery by one of our other vessels. Wasteful : This general is not known for keeping great care of his equipment. After all, more can always be made.

Armor : Armored Superiority. If they can not destroy you, you can prevail.
Master Strategist : A tactical genius, most certainly.
Destructive : Taking the certain for the uncertain when investigations need to be made if the enemy is dead or not. Generally results in lots of small pieces and high ammo consumption.


General 3
Loyal : This general will, in fact, listen to your suggestions
Careful : This general takes care of the life of his troops and his equipment
Hasty : At times, this general can be overenthousiastic in advancing towards the enemy.


General 4
Low profile : There's only so much you  can do to cover up an alien invasion; but this general's an expert in that.
Efficient : This general is at his best when he has to work with limited forces.
Hesitant : Willing, if necessary, to sacrifice troops to attain the objective

General 5
Airborne Arsenal : This general believes in the efficient use of aerial domination to destroy the enemy
Lethal : Force the enemy to flee, and they will regroup and attack again. An attack should destroy the enemy, preventing any retaliation.
Not one Step back : This general is quite adamant about not surrendering

1) Pick 3 out of your 5 generals to lead your armies. (Alternatively, reorganize the armies and pick more or less Generals. Your choice.)
2) Make fun of the GM for coming up with the most chronically unprepared alien invaders
3) Do away with those silly placeholder names

"I've watch some of those radio signals they're sending out, and it seems they've already defeated several alien invasions force landing on the continent they call "North America". I suggest we send all three armies to that part between "North America" and their defensive base, that funnily-shaped peninsula there.

I propose to send General Two as overall commander, with General 4 and 5 under his orders."

You might need to fix the descriptions for the general's abilities before we can pick any of them.

@Playergamer: That may just piss them off even more. Rather, for the time being, let's just start attacking minor military outposts. No holding the ground, just raiding for captives and corpses (And combat experience).

Uh, I don't think the Generals' traits and trait descriptions match. EDIT: Ninjaed twice!

@Playergamer - I suspect we'd just drive our enemy to invent alternate technologies. I suppose with our Aggressive angle we're not really best suited for infiltration and precision, so maybe we should start off with a massive invasion of somewhere. Maybe we should take out the enemy-supportive countries first? They'll just get more support the clearer we make our threat.

Honestly, I'd say we're only slightly more aggressive than anything else.

@Sheb: I'd rather not do that without some support to prevent our ships being shot down. That being said, I think we should postpone any boots on the ground efforts  until after we get a scouts and fighters into the air to clear the path. No doubt these primitives know the lessons of mobility, and we'd be wise to remember that our dropships are unarmed so if their aircraft goes after them they'd be defenseless.

Would they? Their weapons are optimized to shoot each other out of the sky, not intercept capsule tumbling down from the sky.

Maybe, but I'm not taking risks here. Better to leave anything they have capable of shooting back at us as smouldering ashes in my opinion.

So you would just have us turtle this turn? They can't defend everywhere, we could seize a couple regions already.

Remember, they all have militaries. It's just that china and the other parts of asia are more co-ordinated.

I mean, if you want a few abduction raids, we can go into the areas they don't seemingly care about. We need hard data on the humans before we can really strike at them.

Hence why bombardment is the best goal. Kill the majority. Wait a few years for everything to go to shit surfaceside, bombarding any organized military as needed and producing/stockpiling food they can consume and harvesting Water-Ice asteroids, and then stepping in as saviors with food and water to get the civvies cooperating with us.
