We lack FTL?

And they don't need to be 40ks commissars, strictly speaking, merely officers who's role is to ensure those laws are upheld.

Based on how we didn't just warp an invasion fleet in and instead smashed into the moon at high velocity, yes, we lack FTL and we used the moon to stop ourselves.

Could be like hyperspace, given that a gravity well pulls us out of it, and that earth's system is unexplored means we can't really be precise with jumps into the system (Probably got lucky stopping in the moon's one though.)

Is there any reason to research Biology? We've already gained research for that. I'll vote for researching the possibility of mind controlling humans, so +1 mind control.

We could abduct Earthlings, implant them with chips, and send them back, either en masse or particular important people. We lack the means for precise covert ops at the moment, though. Even crude mind control could be useful on a large-enough scale.

Or we could make a gas that makes people reeeeeally calm. So calm that they are utterly apathetic to alienballcreatures rolling by.

Tactic suggestion:

Stone Africa into complacency.

But we only need a few mind control chips to control the humans, they foolishly put all their power in the hands of a few elites.

Sweet. Lets lase some humans.

Earth environmental study/adaptation for our science action.

For our Production, start manufacturing the improved dropship instead of the old regular drop-pod

+1

Militarily we should look into destroying the native military and looking for a place to set up a base/manufacturing center.
+1.

These production and research orders have 3 votes, not sure about the military orders though.

Make that four. Though I highly suggest trying to develop something that would allow "us" to survive in Earth's atmosphere. This is a start though, so the production/research orders now have four votes.

We could design a new solider with better armor and long term survival in earth's atmosphere, maybe camo of some sort?

If we can make our soldiers immune to most standard human weaponry (light explosives and high velocity bullets?) then we can attack undefended areas with total disregard for the natives.
