HMR stands for Hazardous Materials Requisition, not Horrible Massive Ruination, though I can understand how one could get confused.
God help us if we have to agree on pizza toppings at some point. There will be no survivors.

yes. you can evolve in as many directions as you can afford in one turn. In fact, since evolution is paid per ant, evolving in several directions costs the same as the same numb er of ants evolving the same way (assuming the same tier of evolution)

Edit: it is only generally me and Sheb whose actions currently have issues.
Except that Kansa and spiderking need to clarify their direction and depth of their digging.

Ah ... Azkanan, I believe the levels are L0 is aboveground, and L3 is lowest. You have your diggers working on L0, or above ground. I assume you wanted them at the lowest level?

I presumed that L1 was above ground, L0-L3 were underground, with L0 being subsurface, and also presumed that a queen's room was already set up On L1 below the ant hill?

Or do we literally just have an ant hill on L0, and nothing else?

L0 is above ground and you have an ant hill and nothing else there
           L1 is the first basement, and you have a burrow, (unless fillipk randomized your layouts)
           L2 is second basement, deeper than L1 and has a burrow
           L3 is deepest, and has your queen chamber.
All your colony is currently located in one hex, stacked on top of itself (or dug underneath, if you prefer :P)

So I'm going to update tonight in a couple of hours, Ozarck is exactly right and I'm going to put his explanation into the op. 

Don't kick yourself over any mistakes you made, its kind of a complicated game and most of you are new, just don't make the same mistake again.

There are 2 people with messed up action, Sheb and Generally Me, I'm PMing them and giving them 6 hours then I'll update and pick the best one out of the different actions
