Exactly. Which means, assuming they are free-willed individuals, that there are both good and evil ones. The evil ones won't survive long.

Racial foci don't work that way. That may be their ultimate goal, but it's certainly not a slavish fixation. That, and there are multiple ways to get to that goal, some nicer than others.

Look, I'm trying to argue that there is a way for this race to work without being horrible and thus vetoed. The fact that crazyabe wasn't very specific in describing the beasts is actually good in that it allows us to abandon the stereotype and actually be creative. The Tentacle Beasts don't need to be rule-breakingly horrifying monsters.

Something with that design and that goal/focus really doesn't need to exist in this game in the first place. You really don't have to fight to get it in.

Not like that would be too horrible, considering some of the themes are related to your character already  . A Demon based character could use a few upside-down cross shaped explosions every now and then.
