If I didn't expect the battle to be disrupted, Flue would have tried to find some way to profit from it.

Some of us are waaaaaay ahead of you in that matter. The trick is to make the profit independent of the battle's result.

Rolepgeek i choose mimics. Cause they are a creature i consider originating. From dungeons i will put kobolds but they are not a creature that i consider that they are from dungeons. And i fullly intend to allow merchants. To set up shop in mimic towns. I choose. Mimics becuase i wanted to put a gentler kinder spin on mimics. But i might make some traditional mimics also but i wanted a dungeon born creature. To be a guide and. I have always. Thought mimics could be so useful as guides and would provide protection agasint the nastier creatures so consider. My mimcs as amore human like in emotion and upperbody their friendly. Because. They cannot reproduce. Without another sentient that is not a mimic andtgey are gonna be herbivores. So it's. Definitely. Different. Than the mimics. Most peiple are used to and i enjoy. Making creatures characters. And putting or making a kinder creature so i love these rare kinds of mimics and. By the end of yhis i hope you also like them
I sorta already made some traditional mimics, 3 or so should be wondering around the middle of nowhere.

I think KJP made a mistake on the present IC poll. I assume that fewer Ticks would mean I/E/F isn't updated as often, but actions are?

Or am I just being stupid? (it's not even 8am yet, I'm allowed)

The over brain forms a Tentacle Beast near Vir's creations as a joke
Spoiler: Tentacle Beast (click to show/hide)
((Nope. Nope Nope Nope Nope Nope... Kill it with balefire.))
Now, now, he never specified that the reproduction would be non-consensual. Maybe the beasts are actually simply very charming, attractive and seductive?

Well, maybe... but with that kind of creature, that's just... no.
Just no.

Those doing bad things will most likely be the rule, not the exception.
Let's be honest here.

I don't care.

$$$ Balefire. A beam of pure light/liquid fire. Anything hit by the beam not only ceases to exist, it never existed in the first place. Only a memory remains. It is restricted to the most powerful mortals, and even then it is difficult to use. It doesn't work against Divines.

Let's be honest here.
How would they be any particularly successful in their bad things, anyway? They're not any stronger than the average humanoid. They'd be apprehended and eliminated quickly, leaving only the at least half-decent ones alive, and the good ones to win semi-natural selection.

I do dare say that the evildoers would soon become the exception and minority, especially since the race lacks the [Evil] tag.

Evil tag doesn't work that way.
Evil is for like mad scientist evil, or demon evil, or generic bad guy evil.
It doesn't mean those without will be half good half evil, it depends on conditions and circumstances.

The tentacle beasts are dependent on females for reproduction, and their mind is focused on using females for reproduction.
Not to mention, I think all the tentacles are reproductive organs, which would make them piles of d***s.

Why? :o

If I'm thinking what I think it is, the ah... the younger nubile female Humans would be at most risk.

Both where inspired by the same countries works, obviously. We both know you are the real expert on tentacles here, Mr. Bible Black.

...I think all the tentacles are reproductive organs...
Exactly. Which means, assuming they are free-willed individuals, that there are both good and evil ones. The evil ones won't survive long.

Racial foci don't work that way. That may be their ultimate goal, but it's certainly not a slavish fixation. That, and there are multiple ways to get to that goal, some nicer than others.

Never specified in race description.

Look, I'm trying to argue that there is a way for this race to work without being horrible and thus vetoed. The fact that crazyabe wasn't very specific in describing the beasts is actually good in that it allows us to abandon the stereotype and actually be creative. The Tentacle Beasts don't need to be rule-breakingly horrifying monsters.
