I like how in his original one he calculated a 15% discount as an 85% discount  . Due to his secondary sphere (and half remembered conversations), he would only get a ~10% discount, or *.9 (Not .1).

Assuming he was using his computer calculator I know what mistake he did, I almost did it myself. He needed to press the equal button after pressing the % one to apply the thing to the price.

My number is different because a) I used the exact multipliers instead of the approximations in the trait list, b) used the agent base cost and c) multiplied it by 27 to get the total cost.

I think we can still agree that this is an ill-advised creation to make right away, as Arcanis would be left at 2-4I and 0E, with only sources of income being 3-27 worshipers and minor Influence from pre-existing mercenaries.

I believe I did something similar in my first turn with the Evertrees, so I'm not really one to judge. But using up most of your ichor in the middle of a battlefield might not be the smartest idea.

Possibly, but its something he thinks is cool and he wants to make, who cares about the benefit? I spent my first Ichor on my Illicits, so it isn't in me to judge. If he insists on the uber expensive Learning Trait, he might as well make them start learning now to get the full benefit from it. He could always make a variety of free Dragon-based creatures later.

I don't mind you pointing things out. You usually bring up at least somewhat interesting points. Like the fact that he didn't designate a side to join up on. If you were wanting to comment on "what happens if none of the sides is willing to pay them", I'll respond with "then they'll rampage until someone starts paying protection money, duh".

Basically, I'm picturing them as sort of like dragon mafia bosses.

Welp, last night I had a dream that I made a forum game that is the love child of Ye Gods and Arms Race. It sounds feasible, too. Instead of gods, you play as supervillains hired by the US military to develop world-shattering superweapons under their "strict" guidance, and you get to use those weapons in simulations to compete with each other.
