Sorry to bother you, KJP, since the turns are getting more and more complicated, but I believe the Lost Souls count may be shifted a row. The Zhangzhi had more Lost Souls than they did Deaths. I think the Lost Souls were accidentally shifted a row/column down, as  the Puren had 4 Lost Souls, which would be more in keeping with typical Zhangzhi loss rates.

And also it seems to fit for the rest of the races but you know whatevs.

It may be the other way 'round, the Witnesses did not suddenly get 11115 people.

I don't think it is, but...the Zhangzhi did have 1800 births somehow. Which is...a lot, to say the least. And the humans had a crapton of deaths. Maybe secret actions did that stuff?

Can anyone explain to me what the inherent difference is between an angel and a mortal?

What's the difference between a mortal with lots of powerful traits and an angel with lots of powerful traits?

I kind of assumed angels don't count as a race and can't breed but I'm not quite sure what else there is to it.

Angel is just a template you apply to a mortal.

Mortal with lots of powerful traits dies a lot more easily, due to a lack of plot armor and a lack of not-being-mortal.

Unique Gives the Angel most of its plot armor, with the other two providing a little extra. A mortal without them isn't that vulnerable, for example Rose and Lupin are tougher than many of Eids generic Angels, despite technically not being part of the Angel template.

Really, there is no difference. "Angel" is just a template we use for a type of Servant.

In one manner of speaking, yeah, but if I remember right they don't have [Will Be Back]. I mean, you might have given them it, and there are a couple ways around it I'm sure, but once they're dead, they're dead.

Eh. Even if I didn't secretly give it to them, it isn't like it is all that hard to revive Mortals.

Hmm, maybe I'll experiment with it a bit.

Create similar groups of mortals and angels to see how well they both function. Maybe one group of mortals with better traits than the test angels and another group with the same traits as the test angels.

That is one of those things you would be better off using the Sandbox for :p. Much cheaper that way.

Well, I'll give them practical too. Not like I'm just planning to throw away the essence on worthless creations. Essentially, I'll be solving two problems at once.

Somehow I get the impression it might be different for 7E mortals. :P

I also get the impression you didn't spend upwards of 20E in the ticks since you made them, each, to give them [Will Be Back]. :p

$$$PRIECHECK!

Sorry for adding to your Burden, KJP. If ya want to ignore this and/or the Don's prayers (and whatever other useless thing I did  :P) until you have more time/are cought up that is fine.

More disadvantages!

Sunspite: Harmed and weakened by direct sunlight.

A Trait that gives the trait barrier a weakness to certain objects or materials (Like Wood, Cold Iron, Silver, or Garlic for common myths like the Fea).

Weak Point: A spot on the body that is much easier to damage than the rest of the creature, allowing for an easy killing blow.

Just wanted to get these ideas down before forgetting them. Generally, I am starting to design my next line of Illicits (...I am hoping the Associates will bring in enough income for me to finally get Thorn done) and maybe a new race of Powerful creatures with exploitable weaknesses.

Somehow I get the impression it might be different for 7E mortals. :P

I also get the impression you didn't spend upwards of 20E in the ticks since you made them, each, to give them [Will Be Back]. :p

Obviously, I just gave them both the "Ability Thief" trait and had them steal it from a random Tree  ::). Trees are easy to steal from because they are trees.

Besides, it probably isn't going to be free to revive them, but it isn't going to be hard, impossible, or even particularly expensive to bring them back. They will go to my afterlife, after all. And if they get intercepted, it isn't like the Ill Be Back trait would help in the first place.

Quick question(s)

What's the difference between Aligned and Divine? Is Divine just more powerful?
