Also, I noticed that creating a dwarf would cost 1.3 times more than it would to create a human due to requiring Size-3.

FArgHalfNr: Yes and it is Essence (continues the convention of listing prices as something like 64E). Ichor is HP(/Litany Crux) and Flux is for transient things(/Litany Power) only it also fills up a little based on how much Essence has been spent by everyone else.

Villainy does provide some bonus for that. The discount may be increased if you act like a stereotypical villain while dispersing the disease. ;)

Andres: Yes, because a never-useful-for-discounts sphere will get higher discounts on the few occasions when it is useful for balance, while an always-useful-for-discounts sphere will get lower discounts the many occasions when it is useful. Creating angels seems to be a very common thing to do, secret or otherwise. As for dwarves, you'd divide by 1.3 instead of multiplying (I'll get to it later and change it to "<0.77> or <1.3>").

Rolepgeek: Yes, alignment discounts are multipliers. (Though when I mention higher discounts, it'll be in the sense of a higher discount, not a higher discount multiplier)

Having Ichor capacity allows doing godly things and has more than a few sneaky possibilities that could make the loss of capacity worth it. I think I'll add Essence and Flux capacity as other possible things to give [Divine] creations given that they are far more renewable.

It costs 0.001E, as in 1/1000th of 1E. It will cost 1E to make 1,000, 0.5E to make 500, 0.137E to make 137.

That's not how it worked in Ye Gods. It was always a round number.

EDIT: If I create an angel, I would get a 7.5% discount in creating it due to having a second sphere. If I gave it the sphere of Being an Angel, though, would it get the full 15% discount? This is me not being a cheapskate so much as finding potential faults in the system so they can be fixed.

EDIT: Wow, 7.5% actually seems rather crap. If I made 10E worth of angels I'd only get 0.75E taken off the price.

I'm guessing he's going to be using round numbers for withdrawing from our gods' Essense pool.
I guess any price >0 would be 1, but at what point does it go to 2?
Is it >1, >1,25, or >1,5?

Also, Si is not a talker, so she wont be doing much in the talking phase.

Indeed. How does that suggest to you that he was speaking in percentages?

This would mean that, in creating a number of individuals, each one would average 0.001E, irrespective of how many you created.

Which brings me to my previous point, 500 individuals would average 0.5E, 137 individuals 0.137E etc.

Yes, 0.001 indicates a 0.1% chance of consuming one Essence. As far as probability goes, it's totally wrong* because you don't add independent probabilities, but on average, it works out. Internally, it's the same system YG0 used, only I'm displaying the decimals this time.

1.2, for example, means a 20% chance of consuming 2E rather than 1E.

Also, I've rounded to two significant figures so far. You can get the full, unrounded values by multiplying the multipliers on your own.

Well I am not sure how much Divine costs (or what it does) which was the main problem.

Adding it normally, just Loyalty+10 (X2) and Unique (40) would only be ~.08E for 1. Divine would have to be worth 12.5X to be worth it over Normal Immortals? Having the Base Angel traits (Loyalty, Unique, Divinity) subtracted from my calculations while starting from base 1 seems to make them a good bit more expensive.

Rose's Redo (-Loyalty and Unique, starting from 1)=112.7E by my calculations.

**DERPEDIT**

I just noticed that Divine is 25X (Hey, I just got to my dorm!), though I still don't know what it does. It would be a better deal, in theory, then just doing it to a normal mortal.

hector13: If it's about the totally wrong comment, I meant my system of scaling costs fails basic probability, not anyone in here

Andres: It's a sliding scale with endpoints of 0% and 15% and decided on a per-creation basis. Also, spheres on angels and creations are not supported at this time. Making the angel a spherical creature will probably warrant some discount, though.

Is it ok if I remove my second sphere, then? I haven't used it yet (nor has it been mentioned) and it doesn't serve any purpose. I only chose it so my angels could perform their specific duties better.
