Animal breeding question

can normal animals breed with their giant animals if they're the same species? i want more war leopards and i only have a giant and a small leopard

I don't think so. I believe that the game treats a giant leopard as a wholly different animal from a regular leopard, in the same way that a leopard (wo)man is different. A look into the raws suggests this, also.
