I read this thread and loved it (Not sure if its still active though). Anyway at the same time I began getting into Magic stuff so on Minecraft I created a world that included both the Pixelmon(MC pokemon basically) and Thaumcraft(A great mod in which I'm still very much just starting to get into). The world was a complete and utter failure but it got me thinking what if I could create a world in which both Pokemon mechanics and magical mechanics could interact together(or be at odds) Anyway this will be my first attempt at this so here we go...

Hello I'm Professeur Silverwood of the Arcan region.
This being one of the only pokemon regions with high magic, I'm in charge of researching the unique pokemon species
in this region and how high magic effects them. You'll want to see me once you arrive at the Town of New Beginnings.
That way I'll be able to give you your very own Pokemon and teach you how to use basic magic.

I didn't think about it while creating this originally but I've seen enough Pokemon Colosseum that I might add those in. Maybe if you get bottled corruption you can make one.

Other races include dwarves, elves, Halflings, etc. Basically the classes available in Dungeons & Dragons and other magic games.

This is currently a closer to an SG but I'm not against making it multiplayer if that is what the readers desire. Just be warned that I have never made a multiplayer before and as such updates may take longer.

Nekomata are fun. They're necromancers, who are also cats, who have two tails, who are also pyromancers, who can turn into people with just the tails and ears more or less on demand. Also I think they can do a few other things, not sure what though.

Only do multiplayer if you think You as a GM can handle it. Personally I suggest starting this as an SG until you have a grip of the world/how much effort is needed for the game. Then you should consider expanding it to multiplayer.

Welp who knows if I can handle multiplayer but its worth a try. If I find that I can't handle multiplayer then I can always make an npc create a spell that forces the players to lock all but one character in some random timespace dungeon.

Also I came up with a basic template for determining various basic info about a Pokemon Trainer you create for Multiplayer:
Name = (Red/Ash/Blue/etc)
Gender = (Whatever I think gender is based on the name)
Race = Human
