Algae are already present throughout the Ao, so there is no cost to create them.
Fish of all shapes and sizes are now present in the Ao, stretching from tiny minnow-like creatures to larger predators.
Heptapods emerge in the Ao, radially symmetrical animals with seven extremities, vaguely similar to jellyfish. Many species have spines at the ends of their extremities, sometimes venomous. Versions eat algae and predate fish respectively.
Ush-Vor, a massive volcano, juts up through the Ao north-west of Ur. It releases heavy clouds of black smoke and minerals into the skies, and the action creates a chain of smaller volcanic islands alongside it.
Seers emerge above the Ao, floating eyes who watch and survey the world. They periodically dive into the water and hidden mouths catch and devour fish.
The Monolith of Sight, a huge black tablet etched with shifting white writing (in the tongue of the gods) appears upon Ur. The writing shifts to match the events of the world, and there is an interface that allows one to search for information.
Uth-Vel, a fairly flat island of harsh rock, gently shudders up from the deeps, providing an extensive amount of new landmass. [-50 points, Artist]
The Crystal Obelisk emerges from the centre of Uth-Vel, capturing the light in a magnificent display and healing organic creatures who touch it. It swiftly acquires a thick crust of algae and moulds at its base, sustained by its power. [-25 points, Artist]
Wild Magic: The world shifts and shudders as its core seeks to contain the Titanic spark. The core of the world changes, embracing a part of the divinity and incorporating a wild sort of magic into its very make-up. Wild magic courses through the hot core of the world, escaping through ruptures in the surface, such as volcanoes, but also through chasms, rivers and storms. Where it emerges it often takes the form of bright, shimmering colours or even the haze of desert air.
Spouts of Radiance emerge in semi-random points across the world, a source of magic. Animals might evolve to take advantage of it in specific ways, but only a sapient mind could direct it. Yet such raw magic is diffuse, difficult to control. The more drastic an effect desired, the more magic and more effort it would need to control the magic used. Still, with a powerful enough will and a strong source of Radiance, one coud bend the world to one's whims.
The Underworld is carved into being, focused on the vast cavern
Vash-Narad. Smaller caves and tunnels riddle the world, stretching down to the Radiance-infused core.
Travel Pools appear throughout the Underworld, allowing one who immerses themselves in a pool to emerge elsewhere from another one, quite at random. Although the individual pools tend to shift and re-appear at random, they tend to be restricted to the same broad areas within the underworld.
Mushrooms of all shapes and sizes appear in the caverns. In the fullness of time, they spread in small numbers to the surface as well. Where possible they consume nutrients from algae and other microbes in their environment, but the majority of mushrooms tend to cluster around areas of high Radiance, partcularly the lower caves, where conditions are not so harsh as to preclude their presence.
Glow Slugs appear in the caverns, fat molluscs (and the only molluscs of this world) who feed on mushrooms and slime. They glimmer with potent bioluminscence, and are quite docile.
Darklungs are shaped into being, humanoid creatures with rubbery grey bodies, tentacles about their mouths and tusks. They survive on the mushrooms of the caverns, and rear glow slugs for food and light, living in small clans moving through the Underworld, splitting apart and fighting for territory when food is low. Darklungs have a natural defence in their ability to spew clouds of poisonous, fine-sprayed ink that can kill other creatures (including other darklungs), and their minds are shaped in such a way that channelling Radiance and other forms of magic towards ends that are concealing, toxic or destructive is naturally easier for them. On the other hand, they shy away from bright light and will not generally venture into sunlight if they have a choice.
As the world continues to be formed, the two watchers descend and an eighth comes late from the void.
