lets face it, we love these things.
just a few guidelines-

rule one- read the entire thread before posting. this is to prevent contradictions.

rule two-when reteconing is suggested, if the number of posters in favor are greater than the number that are against it. the idea is reteconed and edited out.

rule three-a post may not be reteconed if it has become to integral to the setting (ie, after a number of post reference it, its stuck there)

rule four- rule two des not apply if less than 4 participants vote.

rule five- the setting may not be reset, start a new thread for that.

now that that's out of the way lets begin! (I will call the toady one to enforce reteconing rules if I have to...I can do that right?)

these gods chose to shape a planet first.

as they shaped the planet a new goddess was born from the nothing, and she, desiring her own home, went to a far off corner of the universe.

Nivahzen, the god of whispered lies and manipulating falsehoods, creats Vokun, known as the shadow of a world. It's appearance an illusion, those who view it see it as what they believe it should be. However, its true nature is always the opposite of what is seen. Hidden among this stain is her palace. It's appearance, too, is an illusion. 776 of its entrances lead in circles that prevent not only admittance into the main chamber, but also exit from the palace. Only she knows the location of the true entrance, and only she knows the true nature of the palace itself.

Charlie Becomes King of the rats, creating large amounts of them. Dennis, creates a race of humans in his own narcissistic image. Mac creates huge, muscular gorillas. Dee creates birds in her own, twisted image.

once more a god is born, common at the time. and he creates the anglos.

there form is always the same but there colors vary, there wings and skin can be multicolor.

there god rules them in physical form, and is known as the radiant shadow.

Nivahzen whispers words of pride and power into the ears of the humans. Man is the ruler of this planet. The beasts fill this land with savageness. Kill them, before they corrupt your sophisticated race!

the humans attack the only other sapient being on there world, the Anglos, it goes poorly for them as the winged beast strike back. but the radiant shadow did not like this violence and took his creations to a world of there own.

the power of nothing and creation being infinite gods are born frequently and as a result there are many worlds and races. some obscure and others well known

Once again, a new goddess awakens, rising during the Humans and Anglos conflict. She is named Calteria, and was born surrounded by the very thing she despises. She desires universal peace, and so creates a race of humanoid, yet mantis-like beings, which have one ultimate purpose which they are aware of from birth. Peace. They begin to travel the land, developing their science dramatically quickly, but mostly in the aspects of travel and diplomacy.
