3 XP? I thought you said 1?

If it's 3 can Khaiden use his research time to put 1 rank into Occultism/Necromancy/Souls?

He has 2 saved points already so he's spend 4 and have 1 saved point left.

Right, utterly low-tier goatfucker, 1 exp sounds about right. 3 exp is like.. D001A or somesuch at least.

(Switching over character discussion)

Dexter would be better for destroying non-living (not the same as unliving) obstacles then.

Yes, he is more suited to destroying things with dark magic (as you described in the IC thread). He can also manipulate light and summon a demon, but I haven't gotten a chance to use those due to lasting a grand total of 3 seconds in our only engagement.

Try using light and entropic magic to set traps.

Entropic magic can weaken a structure and Illusion can hide that weakness until it's too late.

Because I'm new I designed Khaiden to be a "churn and burn" caster to get the hang of the game.

Basically he uses the people he kills to fuel his ability to kill more people. Kind of like the average hack and slash video game character.

Amadou got 3 * because being the Terran/Leader. Otherwise correct.

I'll try to update Aria when I get a chance. That mission brings her to 27xp and a stat boost since her last update... yeah I should've been updating more often -_-;

That's actually a really good idea, but I'm not sure I would be able to adequately hide it. I can control light, not perception, so I think the most I could do to hide a sabotaged support beam(or something like that) is to just make it really dark.

Alternatively, I have basically no need to carry flash bangs other than the noise effect, seeing as I could probably just summon a really bright light and just blind them.

Trap-making is an incredibly valuable skill when it comes to our line of work.

You'd be surprised how much a little less light can do.

Is color also an option, or is it just "light: more or less?" If you can add colors, there's so much I can think of. I'd reccommend reading up on Viet Cong tactics during the Vietnamese-American War. Their main advantage was terrain and traps. "Study the best" as the saying goes. The other half is "then learn from their mistakes."

Honestly, I'm not sure on the color thing. Since color is just slight differences in light frequency (sorry if I butchered that description), I guess technically, yes, I could manipulate color, although I had never really thought about applying it that way.

Kevak, what do you say on the color manipulation? Yes or no?

I'd recommend studying traps, especially those of Eurasian guerrillas and the varied terrorist groups in the Middle East and Africa.

They've had the most experience fighting against America, one of the leading modern users of military technology on countries they've invaded.

Plus it might give us an advantage if Gaians tried the same thing. Except they'd be using magic, primitive firearms, and medieval weaponry, not guns, RPGs, and IEDs.
