What about the idea for cyborg soldiers I just posted?

Well seeing how Akras already has clone killsquads. It technically would only be an expensive step forward to make em cyborgs.

The initial investment would be paid off by removing most of the potential for human error in human soldiers while keeping adaptability and no threat of a possible uncontrolled AI.

Well seeing how proper full body military augs are 100C. They would be p fucking expensive.

That's why you have the brains in VR first. The best soldiers in VR get to do it IRL, and those who fail get used for their souls.

So the cost is offset either way.

You could try VRed monkeys. A VRed monkey would Not have a Quality Vessel unless it actually has a body. IE: You'd get more out of plugging a whole monkey into a VR than you would from plugging a brain in.

Yeah that's what I meant. You'd plug the whole monkey into the VR.

The question then becomes, is a VRed Monkey better than a Cage Monkey, and is it better than a zoo monkey?

What if Akras did a matrix type setup of having humans hooked up to VRs and then harvesting them when they needed souls. It would be a high quality vessel and mind and since they grow up only knowing the VR they wouldn't know to rebel and pose minimal threat.

Basically we're coming up for ideas for Tal and KaineFisher cause all of our characters have different areas of interest.

Khaiden wouldn't have the knowledge of it, so that's out of the question.

I'm coming up with backup character ideas, so maybe one of them.
