The 5.7 struggles to turn the plates and doesn't swing them anywhere near as hard as the 9mm
The .45 is covered in the last 10-20 seconds and it is leagues more powerful than the 9mm, knocking the plates back instantly. If he increased the range then he would have a lot more misses and a less effect with the 9mm and the .45 compared to the 5.7.

How much flesh is there over the jugular vein? That will be necessary knowledge if someone tried that with Khaiden. Not then, but later when he's moved up the Akras chain. He has patience when it comes to that kind of thing.

PS. Also, I think it's really not fun RPing with Insane due to how much God-Moding he's doing. It reminded me of what I does 8 years ago when I was 14, and I really, REALLY dislike my 14 years old self. Well, at least  the things she does, anyway.

This brings me back painful memories.
