I would rather not. Murder hobos may be all fun and giggles for psychos, but I'm not really for that kind of thing: I've made a character and gave it a personality, and though it's a recent one in a dangerous situation I do invest something in my characters; I'd rather not have it devolve into a murderous cliché.

Anyway, we're supposed to be professional about whatever it is that we're going to do. If we get to first contact situations, we don't want to be preceded by that kind of reputation; if we're to outright conquer a tribe or a city we're supposed to do it for Akras who wants profit, and a burning city full of disembowelled corpses nailed to the trees is less profitable than a subjugated one. Finally, if we do get to the original castle artefact recovery we're probably end up in blood and gore up to the ankles (possibly even our own), but even then we already know that some denizens are intelligent and can be reasoned with - if we have a reputation for being reasonable, or at least not have one of a bunch of murder hobos.

I thought it fit. It's about destroying the hope of your enemy, which is an excellent way to win. For Khaiden, he gets a kick out of watching his opponents cower and see them desperately trying to find a way out when there is none. Akras wants there to be no hope beyond that which it can provide.
