Well, Because my body becomes used to it. Same with modern Medication. Dosages can wear off if used long term. Hows about i have -2 reaction out of drug in exchange for less severe penalties? My character is kinda meant to be somewhat inhibited in normal combat. I feel like A42 is just a way of making my guy be a skilled fighter without giving him game-breaking stats or abilities. I mean, a scientist type guy would be a good add to the team.If not, thats cool. I just like the idea of having someone who collects samples of Dragon Stomach Acid and attempt to weaponize its enzymes back in the lab.

I'm not seeing any reason for your body to become used to brain destroying chemicals and still have full starting stats.

It only counts out of drug. Noooot seeing it. I also can't see someone remaining a genius after repeatedly ingesting brainmelters.

Well maybe he was, then he became the bare-footed orange dreadlocks he is today after repeated use of the substances?

Dude, for the last time, this isn't a brain melter unless VK decides its going to be. Also, what i meant was my IQ went from 150 to 132 or something. I managed to come up with the procedure to make the drug, and retained the ingredient knowledge, but I'm unlikely to make further progress using only my imagination and random chemicals.

You're overstressing the brain severely. It's functionally a brainmelter if we're being remotely realistic.

Alright,

So let's say we go along with the -2 on every single stats you have in order to let your body have some immunity to the chemical.

Why exactly would he be assigned or accepted into Foxhound Squad? I can push a Tech IT guy in, but I'm not sure how am I going to get him in.

At this point it feels like command is just tossing rejects at Foxhound despite the fact that it's supposed to be a rather elite squad. I'd understand if it was lets say trainee scientists and gunmen in temp fireteams to get actual experience.

He would get in because A. he's related to some high-up (Hence Fancy Name) and B. Foxhound needs someone to go through the portal to examine the other side. Frazz was the right blend of smarts and cobalt ability.

(Also, this "elite squad" thing somewhat dumb. You have just had one of your members play video games for 10 hours straight and another one kamikaze a sentient light being. Not saying they aren't amazing fighters, but Frazz definitely isn't the only quirky one in the group

It's Half-Life 3. She wouldn't have played any other game that long.

Of course, Twin is neither man nor woman but an unholy eldritch abomination like every other Bay12er. The difference is they hide it better.

My Point is that the company is a bit lax in standards.

They already Have someone to go through and examine the other side. One with training. I'm not seeing any xenoarch skills on your character sheet.

I think now we are getting a bit too picky about character details.

Not really. This game has been rather specific with what skills let you do what.
