Bruh. If people who live in huts on mountains hve them, im pretty sure its cheap. Another use would be on our truck caravan. Say we got lost hunting or something. We send the chopper up to ge a visual. Also, if we run into trouble, we have a quick, swift, hard to hit escape pod.

Anything not heavily armored is a waste of money.

You had an armored APC with a 25mm auto cannon and armor to easily withstand .50BMG AP rounds and Denizen 001 got it's scyth arm stuck on it. But to its credit, it continues to work all the way back to base.

And if you wanted some sort of a makeshift homemade helicopter, you could just buy some materials and bribe the right people to build it for you in the engineering bay.

It you could do it yourself I'd you have the skills to.

Or just YouTube DIY it.

The team's money will not be used to pay for joyride vehicles or unarmored airborn vehicles. Tal won't count casualties caused from using said machines as team casualties either.

If you survives a mission, you normally get paid enough money individually to afford some scraps or fresh materials from surplus shops and more. And if you're good friends with some clever engineers or have some left over money to help convince them to help you on your pet project, I'm sure nobody would object whatever you want them to build you. Provided that you use your own money for the material and labour needed to build something, that is.

I mean, a jury-rig helicopter could probably be as cheap as 100*, that's equalvant to 2,500$ or so in today's money. That's more than enough to buy whatever metal and engine and fuel tanks you need, especially if they're 2nd hand and people are looking to get rid of them anyway. Then it's the matter of finding people who can and will put it together and turn it into something for you.

Don't expect them to build you a tank, though. Or even an APC.

But if we're talking some apocalypse-style death bus with scrap metal plates strapped to it? well.. that'd just need an old discomissioned school bus and some good welding iron. And people to weld said iron onto the bus itself, then you can live your Mad Max fantasy while earning a living.

Or, you know, have them make you your own helicopter and laugh at the face of Death as you fly into battle screaming for Valhalla at the top of your lungs.
