That is the best idea. Bonus points if the ears are actually Hightier microphones rigged to allow vastly enhanced hearing but still capable of filtering loud sound. Even more bonus points if they can hear ultrasound on demand. (Ultrasound is a a bit outside the human hearing range, and for good reason. Explosions halfway across a state can be heard in ultrasound interestingly enough. However it doesn't do well with lower spectrum sounds like speech. Can't hear speech in ultrasound.)

May be using the wrong word here. P sure it's ultrasound though.

If R&D could produce a pistol version of the Gauss Rifle, I'm sure they can make something like that given enough budget, time and motivation and a large dosage of coffee.

Yes. that. Except theres a metal Gibbus on the top. Also, VK, everyone knows Portal 3, Tf3 and Half-Life 3 were released in one big mega-bundle (Of 3 games) because the Illuminati wanted us smart gamers to join their ranks. DUH!
