Fine. Lets just ditch the immunity idea. However, the negative effects should be lower, otherwise no ones gonna use the serum.

Well, the negative effects should be balanced to the benefits that it offers. The Serum is either a super-powerful only-for-desperate-situation drug with possible intense negative backlash, or it's a more casual use-with-caution stim cocktails that's considerably less powerful that offers less negative backlash.

But even the most casual of stimulants, say, an Energy drink, will still have a negative effect such as sugar/caffein crash after the effect wears off.

Without a balanced negative effect, there will be no realistic reason as to why people should not be using it.

Maybe if this was a Mad Max game, it would make sense for the people to go into fights doped-up all the time, but this is a civilized game, darnit!

Fair enough. but i do think the drug is balanced as i wrote it. Making your head fuzzy in exchange for temporary dexterity and combat skills seems legit to me.

Say, an Enemy Agent using 20ml of that Serum, gaining what is essentially three times the reaction time for 10 or so Real-time seconds, instead of getting maybe a single aimed shot or two snap shots at you, they manage to not only dodge your attack or throw back your grenade, they also could shoot said grenade mid-air or shoot at you with three aimed shots.

Giving you a good chance of being incapacitated or even dead before you get a turn to squeeze off a round.

I don't think anyone would want to have that happened to them.

Yesh, but  only our company has this serum, and its either unstable enough to not mass produce or Frazz is the only one with knowledge of how to make it.  This Serum would also probably be extremely hard to obtain, as i imagine it degrades extremely quickly when exposed to the elements.

So all of a sudden our company has the most game changing concoction (literally as well as in game). This concoction essentially slows down time for the user, or gives the experience of it happening, like bullettime. I an wholeheartedly against this serum. I hate the idea of it. It would be too overpowered, and has very little in-game documentation. The maker of this drug would be put into a lab to teach other people of the same company how to use it, not thrown into Foxhound Squad.




And after all:
Winners don't use drugs.

It does. They are a technologically advanced cat like race. Might even be the ones who built the Gates. But, if they did, one has to wonder why these things are here and the melots arnt.

Hey Adrenaline cocktails aren't old or boring. It's a scientifically super chemistry injection designed to push one's body to the limits in a hurry and has a wide array of usage both in the combat sense and in a medical sense. People might regret it in the morning if they decide to take it while wounded in order to run to the chopper but it'll allow them to do so!

Heck, if you would manage to make a better version, you may increase the squads value and how much they get per mission.
