I see two solutions here. Make cockroachs more sapient, or upgrade to mice. Possibly uplift the mice as well. The practical application I see is in-field magical storage. Assuming you need to go to an area where pylons haven't been set up yet, having a box of mice that you can sacrifice with a push of a button seems more efficient than needing to take a knife to a monkey. Granted, you could just fill the box with monkeys, but you could probably get more efficient volume usage out of mice or cockroachs.

On that note, do we actually need monkey bodies to get monkey souls? If we can print out living monkey heads that provide just as much soul power as a full monkey, then there's an even better volume ratio for the kill boxes.

He'll embrace Akras' advanced technology since it offers great power.

Also, he's not a "reanimate the dead as slaves" Necromancer, he uses Entropic Necromancy, which is basically accelerating decay and Soul Necromancy, which deals with souls.

He hasn't used Entropic in game yet, since he hasn't needed to. He has used Soul a lot, which let him get back to functional health after getting seriously injured.

These are good ideas... Sentient mice that die if not fed an artificial protein or something. I just need to find out about Foxhound's dogs and I might go that way.


@KaineFisher: Amadou had to bring up something positive about Khaiden to make Danh more comfortable with the necromancer. Besides, even him might not actually know that Khaiden can't do zombies.

After Akras had trouble approaching the World Tree because of the hostile fauna, Regon was sent as an emissary to meet with them.

As an orc that grew up near a major source of shamanic energy, Regon grew to a hulking 8'3, his skin is coloured in a dark green and is covered in blood red shamanic runes used for growth rituals. His long black hair and beard is styled in classic braids native to shamanic culture.
