I imagine it would depend on the elf. The older ones most certainly are attached to their homes. But are the younger ones so attached?
Depends how much rope you use before you burn the homes.
Maybe you shouldn't consider a diplomatic career...
I don't know, if you send him to the right crowd...

He's sorta doing an unholy hybrid of necromancy (Focus on soul manip), assorted biomancy, and a smattering of other things to lesser extents. No need to stick to Only one thing in a ritual.

The younger ones would be more adventurous, not necessarily less attached to their homes: home is somewhere you have so you can return.

I'll have to go check out how that goes once you continue them.

You might want to read the 1632 series; I thought it has a quite intelligent approach to the problem of having a limited population in a time travel.

It was a bug in the original Civ - Ghandi was supposed to be very pacifist, but the aggression went to zero or whatnot, which the game interpreted as the maximum of ten. Then the sequels kept that ascended bug due to fan pressure...

If I learned anything from the Metal Gear series, it's that nukes are very bad.

This. His remark about deplomacy reminded me of it.

I'm going to bed. I've got an exam tomorrow so I need some sleep.
