Read the receipt you got. Best to know the price. Otherwise, not much to do. Go home, check the day. Recall when you need to go in to work. Also recall if you got fired or not. Uncertainty is bad.

The receipt says you paid $52.74, not bad you suppose since you did buy two new appliances. Time to take them home, not much else to do while you're out.

You drive back home, a rather *yawn* boring driving. Pulling into the drive way you begin to slip into sleep but the jerk of the car as you press on the brakes shakes you awake. That could have been bad.

Was there another car here when you left? Or is this new red Grand Am not supposed to be here? You can't quite remember, but decide to wait till you're inside to sort everything out. You're still kind of in a tired haze.

Taking the keys from the ignition and grabbing your shopping bags you head for the front door. Weird.. You locked it when you left right? But it's unlocked now. This is concerning...

What do you do?

Go out to car and grab the crowbar you keep for just this situation before cautiously exploring the house.

Also why the fuck are you so tired?

Setting the bags next to your front door you head back to your car. While doing so you ponder your tiredness. Why are you so drowsy? When did you go to bed last night? Did you sleep well? Are you forgetting something important?

You grab the crowbar from behind the passenger seat. Maybe one of my medications is for this? You think as you head back to the door. You shake your head and clear your thoughts for now, you have to figure out what's going on inside.

You ready the crowbar and head in. The smell of delicious brewing coffee is in the air. Ah yes that's what you forgot, your morning cup of joe, the one thing that keeps you awake in the early hours. But wait why is there coffee brewing? What's going on?

You don't see anyone else in the kitchen.. What do you do?

Unsure of what to do you stand still and listen. The first and most prevelent noise is the coffee maker gurgling* and dripping. You listen closer and can hear something coming from the side hall room across from the bathroom.

What now?

Whatever unlocked your front door must be in there. You "quietly" step towards the door. Though each step causes the floor to creak and your not entirely sure how to walk quietly.

Now outside the bedroom with crowbar ready you can hear what sounds like someone moving papers around and writing on a hard surface.

What next?

Curious as to what's inside you cautiously crack open the door and peek into the room. The door squeeze loudly as you do so. Still none the less you peak inside to see a man writing on a paper and flipping through a text book. He doesn't seem to react to the sound of the door.

Without even looking up he speaks in a mellow and calm voice,"Henry its ok, it's just me, no one broke into the house".

Your name is Henry? A quick check of the ID in your wallet confirms this.

Do you know this person?

That's an odd question to ask, after all it seems they know your name. But do you? You haven't seen their face and their voice is all too common sounding could easily be one of several people you know or a total stranger.

You stand at the door for several moments breathing slowly as you think. The door still cracked the mystery person looks up from their desk,"Henry are you alright?"

"Did you remember to take your meds? Remember what the doc said? Two in the morning and one at night. Or well I guess if you forgot to take them you wouldn't remember that you need to take them in the first place. Anyhow did you remember to take them or not?"

The voice is definitely familiar. The dark brown hair and pale white skin of this man seem familiar too but you can't fit a name to this person.
