((Yaknow Kevak, I really don't think we could do much to make Frazz more protected. Considering that he's already got like a x5 modifier to Hp, Str and Con, as well as a bonus for having practically impenetrable dragon skin, I doubt we could do much that wouldn't involve covering him in armor plating, which would be clunky and awkward. I'd much rather have Frazz be more mobile..))

Some Gaian weapons could really fuck him up and any mind control such as from Gaian Wasps would be an issue. An exo interestingly would do quite a bit for mobility.))

The first two test subjects exposed to the Elixir known as “Atlas” are a male and female German Shepard. Trained to be attack dogs, they were brought to be a scout element for Foxhound.
I had decided that they were to the first test subjects for my new Elixir as well. At first nothing happened, I had mixed the Elixir into Roxane’s food. Called away on mission when I returned Roxane was noticeably different. There was different look in her eye, and she was caught reading books several times.

Upon discovery of this, Clint was also brought into the test and he showed similar signs of improvement as well. Both became 10 times more intelligent than a regular dog, comparable to intelligence of most humans. See video “HOW THE FUCK ARE THEY USING CONTROLLERS” for their speed run of HL3.
They’re the current record holders for speed running the game. They are also highly effective in combat see the National Guard mission report for more details.
Subject Roxane is also now pregnant and it remains to be seen if the intelligence is passed on to the offspring. More reports on that to come, but needless to say the test was a rousing success. So don’t be surprised when you see animals running around Akras in the coming years.

"Atlas" Intern testing.

The Elixir simply known as “Atlas” is an extraordinary concoction. When consumed by animals it quickly increases their intelligence to that of most people. See file “Clint and Roxane” for an in-depth example.

Seeing the amazing results in animals, human trials were the next logical step. Two interns were chosen taking an IQ test before and after drinking Atlas. There is a marked improvement afterwards, seeing that they ordered to keep drinking the Elixir.

The results are stunning to say the least a few days later, there intelligence has drastically improved. In critical thinking board games like Chess, Pachinko, and Monopoly they’re playing at the level of your average RD researcher and they’re still improving.

However, there are some unforeseen side effects, namely they’re speaking with a more sophisticated accent and get frustrated when they cannot speak fast enough. They also have a sudden fondness toward deer stalking hats.

While it doesn’t make sense it appears they’re becoming like the famous fictional character Sherlock Holms. It remains to be seen if all who ingest Atlas progress like this but even if they do. Akras now has the ability to cheaply turn Interns into assets that can critically think at the highest levels and possibly fight better?? That being said this is only a preliminary report and I will update as more developments occur.

((Thrusters have been defined as different than rockets. Shorter burn time I think. Definitely less likely than rocket assisted flight to kill you. Especially with an exo-suit. See: Zach joining the NG assault team.))

Exo Suit Observations:

As my previous report on D001 Plates, I am now giving my combat feedback on our new Exo suits.

Let me first say that this is an amazing piece of hardware it allows you to preform acts that are far beyond human abilities. And enable you to operate levels that you normally might not be able to.

It will also allow you to maintain combat efficiency even with major injuries. My leg we chewed up by a turret, and if it wasn’t for the exo I would’ve have lost my ability to walk. Not only that but the onboard medical system made sure I didn’t feel a thing.

That being said the danger is overconfidence. While the exo augments your natural abilities like strength you have to know your limits. It is quite easy to begin thinking you’re invincible or some kind of action hero. I myself fell victim to that trying to charge through a crowd, and I ended up getting stabbed.

Finally, while the armor is impressive the best tactic is still to not get hit in the first place. As you want to test the armor little as possible.

The best mindset in dealing with the exo suit, is to act as you would without it. Act like you have no armor on at all like before and let it just augment your natural capabilities and be a safeguard when you do get overwhelmed.

Dream Report:

Upon return from the National guard mission, I was put to sleep so they could replace my leg. See report “Siege Breakers” for further details on the mission.

Upon waking I found myself in version of Akras that had been decimated and with weird creatures walking around. Wandering around it felt real, I got tired, and sore but it was actually all a dream. A prank devised by our own Magi Eros.

I literally couldn’t tell it wasn’t real it was only upon talking to 003 that I realized the situation. But this heightens a very real danger, Magi Eros might be on our side but there is sure to be others like her who are not. These dreams are dangerous and I’m sure if Eros had wanted to she could have hurt or killed me.

The problem comes to the fact that those who aren’t Magi have no way of figuring out where they are or contacting anyone. Secondly cutting your hand might not always work or be a viable way of figuring out if it’s a dream or some other reality.

To fix these problems I propose a few solutions.       

-   A necklace or some type of charm some type that can detect what kind of realm you’re in, maybe it changes color depending on the place??
-   A way of contacting Akras through arcane means.
-   Finally, maybe the magi can compile some tips for people who find themselves lost in dreams or places entirely different from our world and ways to escape possibly.

((Correct. Strapping a rocket to you would very certainly do that. Having thrusters mounted in specific spots to augment flight capacity would not. Honestly though I'd imagine it would be better to leave the wings relatively unarmored so ye could fly with em. It's not like they don't regenerate super fast anyways.))

Spoiler: Amalgams: Innate Arcana (click to show/hide)

Possibly one of the most interesting aspects of Amalgams are their innate talent for the Arcane. Of all 241 sapient Amalgams created. All have demonstrated a measure of savantism in various arcane schools. The most common are Biomancy, Necromancy, Base Arcane which I would dub Arcanic, and Ritualism. Interestingly. Void Derived Amalgams have demonstrated innate capacity for the manipulation of Voidic energies, as well as planar manipulation. The extent of which has yet to be determined.

Notably. Amalgams have demonstrated the capacity to cast and manipulate the Arcane within minutes of being formed. Effectively providing a way to directly imbue Arcane ability on a subject. This has obvious uses. Notably a way to create and field numerous relatively easy to direct Magi within a short timespan. Keep in mind that Amalgams have demonstrated a tendency towards not quite grasping technology, although that is possibly induced by the nonsapient component of their creation.

Amalgams have demonstrated a difficulty with technology as previously mentioned. Possibly a side effect of their creation.

Amalgams tend to enact behaviors reminiscent of their nonsapient components. A notable example would be Terran/Domestic Feline Amalgams acting like house cats.

Further observation is required.

Voidic Felids have been shown to be applicable in the Amalgamation process. This has resulted in a number of oddities compared to mundane Amalgams.

Voidic Felines/Terran Amalgams both exist and do not. This results in a number of oddities. Varying from the form or gender changing on a whim, to multiple personalities active in a short timeframe, to not bleeding when injured to quite literally floating. They are quite atypical.

Voidic Felines Amalgams have demonstrated the ability to manipulate planar boundaries, as well as Voidic energy.

Voidic Feline Amalgams have demonstrated numerous psychological oddities. The extent of which are unknown.

Recommending further observation.

An Amalgam is what happens when you mix two or more creatures and combine them into a single creature via a series of Arcane rituals. This can be cute, terrifying, uncanny, or anything inbetween. At the time of filing, the following Amalgam species exist: Terran Human/Domestic Feline, Terran Human/Red Panda, and Terran Human/Voidic Feline.

Theoretically this could permit the creation of entirely new genetically stable species. Such as mixing an arctic fox and a great white shark. Actually. That's a good idea. Will try that later and see what happens.

I am unsure what occurs if one clones an Amalgam. Recommending doing such and testing for Arcane Savantism. Due to the nature of Arcane being soul based, it is unlikely that the Savantism would be copied over.

Something to experiment with is Amalgamating identical cloned interns into one Being. Would they become Intern^2? Something else entirely? Will investigate later.

Recommending investigation of additional Amalgam species and possibilities of combination of normally incompatible species. Combined with the 'Atlas' formula, we could end up with a number of profitable sapient creatures.
