HANDS ON YOUR HEAD!” They demanded, weapons raised and aimed at the growing sith.
Zach slowly raises his hands while whispering to his AI, “Roger, I need you to activate my SOS beacon and message Tal that I need help right now.” He then gets down on his knees before slowly lowering himself onto his knees and placing his hands back on his head. “Then video call Foxhound”
“May I ask what this is about, gentlemen?” Zach calls, “What did I do this time?”
“It is done.” Roger said simply as the surrounding men continues to hold Zach at gunpoint, several of them stowing their guns to take out cuffs.
“Attempting to hand Company’s assets to outsiders, revealing Company secrets as well as arming people who are not under Akras Employment. You can ask Doctor Nalvi for the whole list of your arrest.”
“Allow me to explain myself before you cuff me, please. Dr Nalvi said that the finding of a particular asset was a top priority. I intended to manipulate lowlifes to attain the location of the objective before notifying Foxhound of the location. There was also a more personal side to it, the people who are known to be in possession of the asset sent someone to try and kill me earlier, an assassin.”
“If you have any problems, complaints or explanations, save it for Doctor Nalvi. We’re just doing what he told us to.” One of them said as they let Zach rings Tal.
“Well, stow the cuffs, I’ll come quietly.” Zach says, “I thought that the policy for corporate arrests was cuffs are only for noncomplying perpetrators?”
“It’s for everyone’s safety, sir. And those noncomplying perpetrators can’t shoot lightnings out of their hands like you can.” The cuffsmen still approaches.
“Fair enough,” Zach chuckles, “one thing though.” he slowly reaches into his jacket and undoes his knife rig, both pistol holsters and the carried ammunition.
With his weapons disarmed, the cuffsmen nudged them away with their feet and cuffed Zach’s wrists and ankles.
When they were done, one of the securities held Zach’s PDA for him so he can facetime with Tal.
“I believe I need some answers, Tal?” Zach says, “I was so close to finding the Ringmaster, you know what he did to me! You know it was because of him that my brother is six feet under. You know he sent Jane to kill me, forgive me being mortal, but why can’t you just let me have my revenge? My brother, my last family member, is dead because of the Ringmaster.
