((Can learn. Doesn't mean it'll be easy. Same reason anyone can learn another language. And yah. Prolly a good idea to stop people from fighting.))

[[Unfortunately, a modern gunship of the 23rd Century isn't exactly compatible to an Xbox controller. So you're going to be stuck with expensive, sensitive and precise equipments designed specifically for this exact purpose by top-of-the-line Engineers instead of using a cheap $80 Controller designed to connect to a gaming console and play video games. Sorry.]]

Frazz injected himself with the Mini-Stim, and the result were quick. Within the very same minute, he felt like he just took several bottles of Red Bull™ at once, his heart was racing, his pupils dilated, strength floods throughout his arms and legs as Adrenaline pumps through his veins, fooling his body into the that 'Shit is going down, commence emergency overdrive.' mode.

For the short duration of this effect, Frazz gained +2 bonus to every physical and dexterity based rolls.

Vigil's continued painful training is starting to become real painful, but with pain, comes gain. He earned the temporary perk 'Could make a SEALs blush.' For the duration of the mission, reroll a failed dodge per attack.

Zander's general training is also starting to show. He earned a temporary perk. '100 Push ups 100 Sit ups 100 Squats and 10km running everyday.' for the Duration of the mission. Non-intelligent-based actions in general for him is better somewhat and is less prone to being tired.

Tal and Jon finished translating the book! at least about as far as they could go. There are still some words that have no English equalvant, but you get what it's trying to say. Lots of warnings, apparently. Words such as 'Curse' and the likes shows up quite oftenly.

[Looks something like this.

But much, much less tame. The warning in blood red on 'DO NOT READ ALOUD' is there too, though. Something like these.

It's painfully obvious that whoever wrote this, detailed as it is, is probably already out of his mind.

Frazz Does a run around the track (I assume its the standared 400 meters), then looks around for something significant to pick up/punch

((Also, Frazz will later copy the entire book onto his tablet to bring with on missions. See if there are any carvings/statues that pertain. Also, it might be good as a "MonsterPedia" Finally, i vote we call the book the "NastyNomicon"

He runs it in good time compared to the more athletically able members of the Company. And there are punching sandbags and weights to be picked nearby, which I is some sort of an excercising area.

Read through the translated works! Don't say the stuff aloud.

Jon shall read the book as well. Not aloud, of course. Reading aloud will be done once we put an intern and the book inside a secure containment area.

Frazz throws a sandbag into the air like a freakin boss.

Until the Mini-stim wears off and the sandbag landed with him on a thump.

A few fellow employees that were passing by stopped to help rolling it off of him. The only thing Frazz injured seems to be his pride, so he'll be fine.

Being the one who read through the translated book the most, Tal feel like he's gained some deeper understanding into the Creatures and thus, the world around it. Realizing that the scale of it all is so much.. much bigger than what one would have initially thought. And that there are so much, much more to it than just the lure of artifacts in castles.

The draw of power whispers to him, not as actual whispers or anything immediately noticeable, but as that little darkness clawing at the back of one's mind when you're not thinking too hard about it only to flee away from your prying mind when you think back at it. That little devil on your shoulder that give you terrible.. horrible ideas.. only to be realized that there were never really anything on your shoulders at all and it's all in your head.

Tal can now occasionally point out the Strength, Weakness and Nature of non-Denizen creatures from the other side of the gate. He can also now read the inscriptions there without the use of a translating tool. Items of interests are also easier for him to spot and realize it's true potentials.

You'll have to point out to the Intern to a word and write it in English for them to pronounce if you'd like to test it out.

((That's a very very very useful series abilities.))

Focus reading on the stuff that's not supposed to be spoken. What are the specifics? Be a shame to waste a perfectly good intern due to improper preparations.

[And only at the low-low cost of your Sanity! :D]

Specifics varies. Some have description of what one could easily be called occultism rituals, others are just some weird gesture/dances. The book insist that you project the word and it's meaning by your mind or actions and never, EVER by your speech. Whatever that means.

Frazz runs to Tal to show him the video so he'll give his stims the greenlight. Also, he probably will read that book. He probably will be less bothered by a demonic presence in his head.

"You can use them on yourself and explicitly willing squadmembers. I'm still not recommending them due to the potential for nasty side effects. As for the book. Sit down and read with us. Don't say any of the stuff it says to not say out loud."

That means thinking the word and intent and preforming said actions at the same time likely will accomplish better then speaking them. It also means interns are probably a bad idea to use.

Find a few relatively low difficulty things and figure out the specifics for them.

((I didn't get the thing? Damn, should've started helping out Tal earlier.))

Guess I'll be helping Tal in his experiments. And reading that book some more.
