Vigil hands Arthur his knife.
"I would have given you 'Betsy' but, if you don't make it out, I will lose her, and I would have to kill your dead body over that. And I've killed people over less."
With that, when begin to take out the Camp nets, and starts to set them up so that, when he jumps or falls, it will roll him close to the vehicle, instead of on the 'safety' pile.

The Pilot and their cargo handlers paused when they saw that the entire camp is covered in eldritch runes coated in blood. And rotting monkey corpses everywhere..

They decide that they didn't get paid enough for this..

"He's a brave man. The Imperial Senate of the Roman's Republic will not forget your bravery." Maximus commented with a respectful nod towards Arthur.

"So we're doing the Ziplining thing, then?" B. Carmine asked. "Who's going to go set it up?"

"Obviously we need to set it up as a group. Best to avoid getting maimed by unaccounted hostiles."

Okay, so I begin to walk back inside the keep and drag bodies to the place that I want to land on.

"C'mon guys, aren't you gonna join me?"

The Carmines decide that it's best they stay in the Vehicle, but Maximus, being a strong man as he is, came over to help with the moving of the bodies.

Is anybody heading back inside the keep yet?

Scanning inside, the coast seems clear enough. You still can't see what's in the 4th floor, however.

Arthur and Maximus moved to go secure the armored monster, one that Arthur have taken the precaution to saw it's head off 'just in case' earlier. It's going to be a struggle, the thing is very much metal, bones and muscles. You've no wonder why the lighter squads had so much trouble with the thing.. one might shudder at the thoughts of what the beast could do if left unchecked for long.

It's right about now when people enters the keep that you really, Really wish you had brought gasmasks. The stench of the corpses were becoming overwhelming, it's as if somebody left out a pile of dead bodies in the sun for a week straight!

Tal, being a scientist, would have the general understanding that the bodies of the unarmored hostiles are indeed deteriorating rapidly. Which brings interesting questions to it's inner workings and biologies, what bacteria might exist to cause such a reaction once the host ceases to live. And seeing as nobody's having their flesh fall off yet, doesn't seems to be immediately dangerous to human.

The knight still seems fine, though.

The Zipline is also set up, secured by a metal nail hammered into the stone.

The DM rolls some dices behind the screen.

"Ok, let's tie the knight and one bladed arm guy to the car and then I'll go for the artifact"

Do exactly that.
