Then the Beretta would cost more than the free SMG. A Beretta ought to make sense by being a free, lightweight backup weapon.

The Beretta, costing 5*, will be half the price of the free SMG, which have the cost of 10*.

It's just not standard-issued, that's all.

OK. . .  Things that are free are things that your company can get through their sponsors, things that you find on the field, and things that you or your company can make with ease.(really low cost and/or traceablility)

Why do half of the tech specializations have seemingly no use? I can't see any equipment that pairs with Sensors for example.

Would be nice to have IR or motion sensing stuff.

I will treat the sensors as a modular design chip that you can slot into your PDA, which feeds directly to the cam in your helmet. They don't want you looking at porn on a mission. That's grounds for immediate termination of your employment.
Because of the specialization of each mod, you can only have one at a time, for now, you can try and use two if you like,but, after a while, it wont end well.

each sensor will cost 5* and will give a skill bonus to any int or per checks the user makes.
Just name the sensor and I will write it down in a personal list, for now. I have no editing powers over the Rulebook.

Lets just say that the most the company is wiling to spend in that term is flashlights, for now. Though, I will say that the PDA comes with a NV module.

OK. . . Looking at this, you have 10 overspend on point (Probably because of the 15 hp, when the standard is 10) I can count that as my fault (so you can keep it) because, at the time of this characters creation, I was not as clear as possible when it came to how to make a character.

As for the .45. I will give it to you. And one mag. Two if you give me your grenade. You will also need to label each mag as either AP (armor peicing, which is the standard) or HE (Which is the stats right under the gun)

You may want to look at the rulebook again. Some changes are being made, and corrections.
Edit:

Handheld Tactical Sensor Suite:  Has a readout detailing motion, heat and radiation coming from a 75 degree area in front of the user, up to line of sight.  This allows the user to make a Sensors roll in place of a Perception roll and with a +1 bonus. 10☼, 10 lbs.  (Added because the creator of this document likes Kevak.)

There's 2 scientists already, I think. But I don't see why we can't have another one? A team consisting of nothing BUT Scientists and Doctors could be interesting!


Might want to make your first mission a quick grab and smash for money info stuff first to buy some drones to fight for you, though.
