"Well, if that was the issue, I think the fact that this was a thing that I was asking for would only include me in the deal. And I thought you guys were worried I would get rapped up in something stupid. Thanks for caring. Anyway, one battle, in the deal as well as all you need to make the weapons." His hand was outstretched again.

The Dorf crosses his arms as he looks at the offered hand. "What's good a single swordsman can do eh? yer spindier than me pecker! ye ain't worth the sword mate."

"If you still don't believe me after this, I can fight. . .  ohh. . .  Five of you at once, and then you will see." Vigil picks up the sword and tried to chop down a nearby thick looking tree with one swing. Afterwards he will hand the dwarf the sword, so it can feel the weight.
Everyone could tell that that was his angry voice.

Several dwarves crack their knuckles. "We'd like to see ye try, milksop."

Vigil does slice a tree down, though that does not seems to impress the dorfs very much. The one that got offered the sword hold it and weights it in one hand, then does a 'meh' sound.

Vigil looked dumbfounded. And then defeated when he realized the implications of what just happened.
"Trained for years. Fought demons, people, a demigriffian, a baby dragon, and. .
. . Just to lose to an Adult dragon and now you guys. a tinge of reluctant hopelessness found its way into his throat.
"Fine. I give. Let's just fight so we can get this over with. I think I have something to prove this time." Once again, his sword entered into the ground, but this time his fist went up into a defensive posture.
