Jon lands.

"Now, with the fire out of the way, let us reach an agreement. In exchange for your loyalty, the quality of life in your entire village will reach levels you haven't even thought of. Have you ever imagined hot running water? We can do that easily."

It's recruitin' time, I think. Assuming no further hostilities erupt. Lead the villagers to their new and improved home, if they agree to sign the employment contract. The team I called in should handle the rest.

"Bullshit." They don't believe in such things as crazy as HOT Running water.

I mean, a flying demon shooting fire and burning down forest? Sure.

Hot Running water? That's a pile of Kelpieshit.

Village ho.

In like.. not even ten minutes since the first worker touched down.

Shit got rummaged through, torn down and burned, then concreted over before Pre-fab buildings gets erected and connected to running power generators and water tanks.

Seriously, it's mind-blowing how fast these guys works.

He didn't move much when he fought. Even when a large orc charged into him he barely shifted from position, and just backhanded it with his shield. And in attacking he seemed to wait for them to come to him, not wasting effort chasing them down. He used his shield mainly against the orcs, seeming to be trying not to seriously hurt any of them, just to show them who the rest should be listening to. Something he reminded those watching between each challenge. Punctuating the fights with trying to get the rest behind his way of doing things.

((That's my mental image of it at least. I could be wrong on how it'd have to go :p))

"Good job, guys! Take care of the villagers, I'm gonna get my people and take a look at how the other team is doing."

Let's go to the greenskins. I have a feeling Frazz was pulling some shenanigans.

Frazz sits nearby and occasionally gives hoots of approval when an ork performs particularly well.

Vigil watches too, noting how they fight and what he could take for himself to improve upon.

Despite the fierce fighting from the orc's side, eventually the challengers all got their proper fight and decided that they can't so easily defeat the armored guy.

And since their leadership is dead, it's not like they've got any better idea on who else should lead.

He had proven himself after all.

"Alright then, are we listening now? Good, here's how this is going to go. We are going to join this new group. They've promised to revive most of those who died, as well as give us improved supplies." He'd pause to look around at the collected orcs, then continue. "We are going to do this, because they have the weaponry to level us. Besides, with what I've seen of the group they have a sizable military. And they're open enough to have a dragon working in that military. So who knows, might be room for more who'd be up for a proper fight. Now, start getting all the bodies together. Pull them out of the ruins, get them into a clear area. Any that are identifiable place with their family members. We'll see if these people are as good as their word."

He'd watch the people for a moment longer, then speak up if they didn't get moving. "You waiting for an engraved invitation? I meant NOW!"

And so, the orcs bursts into activity of digging the dead out of their ruined huts and such.

Some needed a shovel and a bucket, but they got put in the line as well anyway.

Although cloning would be faster, it's more flashy (and a little more fun) to just casually mend wounds on a body and then have it suddenly pop back to life. Magi's Vari, Steve, Kai, Ki, Lok, and Katis are to handle the rezzing. Drones are to draw the circle templates out to save time. Said Magi'll obviously be using IHSS.

Laz comes out of the vehicle he was in to witness the imminent rezzing. He has never seen it done, and is frankly not sure they can do it in the first place. (He's wrong, of course, but he still has his doubts)
