Seeing by how much he had failed, Vigil blamed it on his lack of speed with his weapon. For the rest of that week he trained as hard as he could, not just on swinging his new, hefty blade, but, on his mobility with it. If bullets are fasterrible than a sword, he just has to be faster than the gunner.
Jenny would get her food sent straight to her, and the whole squad would notice him missing for the entire week, as he did nothing but practiced in the training room, shaving second after precious second off his old time, taking time in the training pool, weights attached to him as he ran from one end to the next, and back, pausing only to eat dinner, and crap, barely even to sleep.

The Pilot and their cargo handlers paused when they saw that the entire camp is covered in eldritch runes coated in blood. And rotting monkey corpses everywhere..

They decide that they didn't get paid enough for this..

Also play half life 3.

"You know, since aliens in a parallel dimension were guarding half-life 3, do you think there might be copies of half life 1 and 2? How did these things even get their hands on technology from an alternate dimension?"

After that's done ask command for exclusive foxhound-only uniforms.

You'd think that fighting demons and going to other dimensions we wouldn't get surprised anymore, but no the fucking demons had Half Life Three.......Hmmmm you reckon Gaben sold his soul to make it but the demons took it for them selves???

Continue my intense training this last week and Garden in my down time along with playing HL3. Train if I can with Vigil and make sure he doesn't burn himself out.

"You know, that makes perfect sense. I've read stuff about how valve became increasingly more money grubby, and this explains it so well."

Despite Zander's best intent, Vigil managed to completely burn himself off from over-exertion. Deployment is coming soon and Vigil's already should be in the infirmary's bed. While his speed and ease with his new sword increased considerably, he's also been diagnosed with Physical Overexertion, Fatigue, Hypoglycemia and Dehydration.

He was found collapsed in the training pool, thanks to Zander being there, he was dragged out and into the infirmary and didn't just drown in an embarrassing death. He's getting IV drips until he recovers.

For everyone else, Half Life 3 was worth the century wait. Minds were blown, the gameplay, the story, it managed to set a new standard even in today's gaming world. Whatever stress you may have had from work or from potential death are just washed away or heavily suppressed, You've gained temporary perk 'Haven't finished the game yet..' that increases your will to live for the mission. Because you're not going to die out there until you finish the damn game, damnit!

Tal's Science goes quite smoothly, albeit slowly since everyone in the research team is also busy playing Half Life 3. But the tiny perpetual heat-generating machine made from the rocks are finished, everyone on the team is excited at it's potential, even though the higher-ups are not at all impressed.

The anti-decaying Coating have been extracted and studied, it's been applied to a piece of copper which is being left to rust to test out.

More scales from Denizen 01 have been extracted and shaped, it's enough for another 3 ballistic vests!

It's been several days since Arthur requested for a custom made uniform for Foxhounds.

There's still no response from the Higher-ups or Logistics about it. Although the Storeroom guy did manage to dig out a cat ears accessory headband from somewhere deep in the storeroom and said the squad can have it.

"They'll get over it quickly."

After that conversation, Arthur asked high command about buying a private helicopter.

They reassure you that a private helicopter, even unarmed, unarmored and big enough for just a person to sit in, is well beyond your Squad's budget right now. And sends you back. Although they might just not want you to have access to something that might allow you to escape the corporate work so easily.

Tal files the necessary paperwork for equipment.

Phalanx Anti-Ballistic System 20☼ - Equipped by VFD A.

Phalanx Anti-Ballistic System 20☼ - Equipped by VFD B.

Rome Stealth Reconnaissance Flyer 20☼ - Now that we may be encountering other squads.  May be good to get one for battlefield coverage.

Large Shield 10☼ - For Max. As he's a Close Combat Specialist. With this, he can rush enemy positions if needed.

Unit Rocket Launcher 25☼ - For the Denizen/quick breech. Will be equipped by VFD A
- 4 Rockets. 5☼x4/2 = 10☼

-3 Gauss Clips. 15x3/2=22.5☼ For Aria.

-2 LMG Clips. 15x2/2=15☼ For Aria.

Variable Fighting Drone A (Legged variety.) 20☼

Variable Fighting Drone B (Legged variety.) 20☼

VFD B's weapon will be a spare. Cause we'll have spares.

4 Medkits. 20☼

28.5 remaining.

The last bits can go towards ammo and gear for whomever needs it.

Before the mission. Tal interviews every Medic and Tech on the fireteam.

When the chance arrives, Tal finds himself in one of the small cargo holding area near the deployment zone that have been given to the Squad along with their purchases. Whether it was luck or fortune, or misfortune on their part, the whole fireteam have seems to set up camp there at whatever free space they have that doesn't have your stuff on.

You immediately recognize the two Technicians that's checking the newly arrived combat drone, legged variant. Both of them have the ABS installed already and one's got a rocket launcher on it. You'd expect something like a fully functioning drone with weapons would cost much more than a civilian Humvee, but then again, working for a company that manufacture said drones probably help cut the price down significantly.

It may very well be your first time seeing one kitted and ready for combat, but you're getting side-tracked.

"Hey!" One of the Technician smiles a wide grin and waves at you, you recalls them as the Carmine twins. The ones that drove your APC in that last mission and said they'd retire.

Seeing you approach, the three other that's been more interested in improving their 'camp' than the drone stood up to face you. You looked important enough, after all.

Everything else seems to have been delivered here already as well, with the reconnaissance flyer drone resting ontop of one of the grey boxes that have white letters that read 'Ammunition.' written on it in thick, bold... comic sans.

There are also medkits stacked up neatly on one of the shelves, you guess it was the ones you ordered.

The  cargo holding room that you've been given itself is.. standard, you'd say. The two legged drones that you've ordered really ate some space up, but there's still enough floor space for the five to set up camp, and there's still plenty of shelving space for whatever you can fit on it. Give it a month and the place will probably look and feel 'lived in' as the fireteam lives on-site. Believe it or not, living in here would probably be better than living in the dormitory.
